FYI - Disney Vacation account credited more than once, in error

I wanted to start a separate thread for those that don't follow the "disney gift card thread" so it didn't get lost.

I just entered 3 $100 Disney gift cards and 1 $50 Disney gift card in to my Disney Vacation Savings account. I got a "hiccup" on two of the $100 gift cards and looking at my balance, one of the $100's credited three times (so two times too many) and the other $100 credited an extra time so a total of $300 extra was added.

Not sure if anyone else has had this happen but this was a first for me. I'm assuming they'll know this and deduct it later so I'll be watching. I would call them but since it gets referred to a "back office" I'll wait it out since it's over the weekend as well.

I've had issues (and assume this is normal) that the last few weeks my balance summary page starts when I first created my account in 2014 and I have scroll or page to the front and most recent page to see my new entries. It used to default on what you just entered which makes total sense but not now.

Hopefully no one else has any major issues but wanted to share just in case.

Yes agreed totally which makes me a little nervous! I did a print out of my balance so it shows the before and after and the deposits into the account and I kept the two gift cards out for easy reference just in case.

I'm surprised no one else had an issue or perhaps people have but didn't see they had more credited than should have - who knows

Just had this happen to me. My $100 gift card credited twice! Ugh....
