FYI: Disney On Ice

Just in case you didn't know. I sometimes never find out about these things until it is too late or all of the good tickets are gone.

I got a mailer today re: Disney On Ice. This year's Disney On Ice is called Princess Wishes.

The mailer says: Join your favorite Disney Princesses in a story woven with dreams and enchantment. Disney On Ice presents Princess Wishes is your chance to see the timeless tales of seven inspiring princesses. Take a journey under the sea to unlock Ariel's secret wish. Watch in wonder as the dreams of Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Aurora, and Mulan come true. And, Tinker Bell makes a special guest appearance to sprinkle her magic and charm. Be sure to see this show where Believing is just the beginning!

It sounds cute. My DS and I have seen Nemo, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Incredibles, etc. You know all of the boy shows. I am trying to talk DS05 into going with me (if DH would stop ruining it by saying it's for girls etc.) DS11 says "No, way!". If I all else fails, I can still take DS01.

Our event isn't coming until September, but tickets go on sale in a couple of weeks -- so look for it in your area.

I also got this mailer last week. It will be a week after we get back from Disney, LOL. Dh and DS are staying home and just DD6 and I are going. I'm going to call next week and get the tickets.

I got the mailer for the Incredibles. So I guess we aren't getting a Princess show this year. Last year it was Nemo. THe year before Beauty and the Beast, and a Princess show the year before that. Oh well, the last show for the Incredibles is the same day we get back from WDW. So i guess we won't be seeing that show.

Oh, Wow! I didn't know that different shows toured around the country at the same time. I just assumed it was like any standard event - That the same exact show just toured around the country and then it was retired.

I took my 4 year old and 3 other friends to the Princess show last year, and we had lots of fun. All of the girls wore their Cinderella costumes.

Just to let you know, NC isn't on there either, but it wasn't last summer either - they usually do shows in Charlotte and Raleigh in Dec. here, though, so keep checking - I think they'll update their list more in the Fall. My babysitter usually gets a flyer Sept-Oct. with group rates and she takes the kids. They saw Nemo year before last and Incredibles last - my dd would LOVE to see a princess show!

We saw The Incredibles a few weeks ago here. It's a GREAT show - my favorite DOI show yet. But be warned - I was singing the Tiki Room song for days.

being from n.j. also , we found great tickets for the shows at continental arena on ebay look for the name nib10. By the way thats not me, but I always get my tickets from him or her.(circus, DOI, Seasame St.)
