I admire a lot of people in this world, but not immature people who take the huff, because other people don't agree with him.

Shouldn't have even had a camera on the ride to take those photos - If I had been a cm and seen you, I would have taken great pleasure in throwing your hide out the gates, or do you just disregard the rules

Did you ever stop to think if that camera had come loose from you and hit some passer by - no I didn't think so!!!

For God's sake yvettej you think I would try something like that if there was danger involved. Oh let's try to make dogg look bad, come on everyone join in. 1.) this is not what the thread is about. 2.) I have a wrist strap that came with the camera that I wrapped around my arm twice. So nice try, but you still haven't gotten me. 3.) it is not bad to take pictures. Actually if I didn't have pictures of this, you wouldn't even know what I was talking about if I posted this message. After the turnout of people with reply's, maybe that would have been a good idea. To bad I can't predict the future.

I would love to see you try to take me away and throw me out of the gates for something as innocent and harmless as that.

And another fact, the workers saw me with the frieken thing in my hand. They don't care. I don't know, maybe they don't mind because they knew me. Maybe because it isn't a bad thing. Take your pick. God I feel like some of these posts is like the witch trials with all the accusations, etc. YOu are making this seem worse than it is. It isn't even bad so try to get over it.

I don't frequent Dr. Doom much, so I'm not going to say anything about the camera on that, although it is something that could come free and hurt someone.
I have seen people already seated and ready to go on the front row of DD with a camera and they have been made to get it off of the ride. This particular fellow had the strap that wrapped around his wrist and he showed the CM, but rules are rules and they said he had to leave it off.

Now I'm curious, it seems to me that on Hulk and DD if you can't have a camera, that doom would fall into that category, but I don't have the rule-book in front of me.

I also hope that the CM's didn't allow him to carry it on just because he's a familiar face...the rules would apply to everyone.

It is easy to see why it could be a safey issue to have anything on Dr. Doom with you though, IMO.

Yeah I really don't think they did that cause they know me, but they let me take it on. I mean I double secured it plus I don't have the rep. of having butterfingers. Yeah yeah it could happen to anyone, I know the story. I don't think it is that big of a deal. Hey just look at any site, even IOAcentral.com. You will see many many pictures that were taken on not only Dr. Doom, but Hulk, DD, etc. It isn't a new thing, people do it all the time. I love to have pictures to come back to of the rides I love and after I have just been on them, it is nice to have something to remember. Hey I bought 2 hulk pictures and 3 MIB pictures from their stores so it's not like I do this for the free ride.

dogg2727, Thank you for highlighting the letters as you saw them, you beat me to it. (My cat was in the Vet Hospital for almost a week and I was emotionally detained)

Secondly, let me try to ask each of you a question that perhaps may put a different outlook on this situation. Hypothetically, if you were granted the task of designing a rollercoaster, one that would be called the Hulk, how would YOU do it. Keep in mind that the coaster has to meet certain safety standards and engineering specifications.

Now... If you, the designer, suddenly got a creative brainstorm and thought to yourself, "I wonder if I could sort of fit the word 'HULK' in the design".... How would YOU do it?

...Okay class, your papers are due on Friday and I'll be taking off for spelling errors...



(This thread would make a fantastic promotional gimick for US, btw.)

Hmmm I don't know if you could ask me that because I would do it exactly the way I saw it personally. I know I would do the H the same way becuase it is the only way to do it and it looks really cool. As for the U, the only way is that vertical loop. What I think they did a good job of doing is ***they made the largest vertical loop*** so that the U would stand out more instead of the usual loops. Then for the L, it would either be a cursive L which is a loop, but that is to obvious and looks a little to odd like it could be an E or something. So the way that L was made was the better approach. As for the K, the only way it could be done is a series of turns around the track like in the picture so that 2 parts of track from one looking spot can come together and resemble a K. So that is how I would do it which is vouala what they had. That is how I studied and figured out the theory behind this discovery.
