Fyi Amazing Hulk Secret

I orginally posted this so happy because I noticed it. Now I feel like I am just getting shot down. I think the discovery is quite a find and no matter what anyone says, I do see the H U L K

So basically what you are saying is that you're unhappy because, other people disagree with you.

Dude, there is no discovery to find at all - it doesn't even spell out HULK.

It's like you look at some patterned wallpaper some ways and you can make shapes out in it.

Tell you what though, I bet people could see it if they had had a few jars:D:D

Dream On!!!

Oh boy aren't you the root of all that is good. Geese. Ok first of all it does spell out H U L K. Maybe you are not trying or maybe you don't want to see it just so you can reply like you just did, I don't know. The pictures I put on here are the best that you are gonna see. The only problem that we are having that is creating a "fight" is that we don't know if it was 100% planned. A lot of people do see it so unless you forgot to put you contact lenses in, you should be able to see it. I know this isn't like the best photo taken by a big high tech. photo corp. but you can see what I am talking about in it. As I have already explained, you stand a better shot of seeing it by actually going on Dr. Doom because there you can see the whole picture and see the letters clearly. As for the other comment, I am not playing lego's trying to find the blocks and triangles and put them together. You can see the letters normally, not squinting trying to see anything that resembles a letter. If you have anymore darling little comments like that one, maybe you should refrain from saying them at all.

I see it... The K is a lil' odd...

From a design point of view, it would be pretty neat if they could actually light up the letter outline at certain intervals at night (maybe tiny strobes?) to show it off... So guests would say "Did I really see that?"...

(Looking around for a REALLY big ladder and some glow-in-the dark paint)

I think someone has an overactive imagination. It doesn't say Hulk, the ride isn't that special or unique, and in fact, it's not even that good.

Bah!

Seriously, you have got to be joking!

I can see the H and the U and possibly the L but I can't find the K, dogg2727. Hopefully B&M can givre you the answer your looking for.

Funny you mention that grumbada as I believe that in the original design of The Incredible Hulk Coaster the track or at least portions of it were to glow green at night by some sort of lighting effect. Darn those budget cuts!

Hey grumbada that is actually a cool idea, but not to bright to give it away that easily. See I think the whole idea is to make it a secret if that was there original intention. But with all the comments on this message boards, that idea of yours is looking pretty good. Oh about the K, you can see it in the picture, but I put money on it that this isn't the best picture I could have gotten of it. It was pretty hard to get it in the first place. When you ride the Dr. Doom, the K look's a lot clearer trust me.

I am appalled by some of the negative and quite rude responses on this thread.

If you disagree with what dogg says, then oh well. You don't have to completely degrade his idea and opinion.

I had a bit of trouble seeing it at first, but after looking at it a bit I could make it out. Whether or not it was intentional, we do not know yet, but it is quite a cool find nonetheless.

I know that if people were giving me the responses some of you have given dogg, I'd be afraid to post anything on this board.

Sorry, that's just how I feel.

And just so I clear things up before someone now bashes ME for my post, I was NOT referring to everyone who disagreed with dogg. Some just simply stated you didn't see it or didn't agree it was intentional. I'm talking about the ones that really put down dogg's idea. I'm not going to mention names, but I have a few in mind.

OK, everyone, this post is getting pretty harsh. Let's remain civil and friendly. Please take a look at the board rules if you are not familiar with them.

Anyone who continues being unfriendly or harsh may not be allowed to post anymore on the DIS.

Thank you.

Thanks a lot flyfly eclipse. You said everything I was thinking of. Here I posted a simple thread showing people a cool thing I found. Whether they believe or not is up to them. I see it perfectly and I could be right that this was intentional, I don't know. If we could find some way to get hard evidence, then this might clear up a few things. Yeah from all the negative backfire's, it just makes me not want to post anything. It actually makes me feel sorry for putting this on the thread. Maybe I should have kept this discovery to myself.

No problem dogg. I wanted to state my opinion on this matter because I enjoy posting on this board, talking about one of my favorite places. Worrying about rude responses is not something I'd enjoy and I'm sure some of those people didn't realize how harsh their post sounded. This way we can...well, simply try to "react" differently. :p

The saddest part of this entire thread is that this kid doesn't realize that a roller coaster is not designed AROUND a theme, the theme is done around the ride.

Now if the ride was designed in house, by Universal Creative, it could be the other way around- but when bought by an outside vendor, especially a major company such as B&M, the company merely says what they want the ride to "do" and then themes it from there seperately. The theming has nothing to do with the design company.

Now, since the kid isn't smart enough to comprehend that from the other 2 and a half pages of responses he's already gotten, here's a nice burst of his bubble:

First concepts had the roller coaster on Marvel SuperHero Island, then just SuperHero Island - as being the SILVER SURFER COASTER, nothing to do with the Hulk. So why does the ride intended to be Silver Surfer spell out Hulk, kid?

Clearly, it was planned that way.

As an added point-

Bringing a camera on the Fearfall is actually a breach of park rules as well as a potential safety hazard to yourself, other riders, or anyone watching in Doom Alley. Breaking park rules can result in your ejection from the attraction, if not the theme park itself. Just something to keep in mind next time you want tout sneaking and blatently breaking a rule.

Excuse me but SMART has nothing to do with this. To be honest with you, I have no idea how they create rollercoasters and their themes and everything. It's certainly not just "common sense" as you make it sound.

And what are your resources? How do you know what the original plans were for the Hulk coaster? I'd like to know because I never heard that before.

here's a nice burst of his bubble...

So know you are TRYING to be rude, huh? No, the comment itself wasn't really rude but the INTENT was.

When I read that, I could picture you sitting there at your computer smirking at the thought poor dogg would feel like a complete idiot.

Come on people, PLEASE GROW UP! Let's have respect for people's thoughts, opinions, and ideas.

I thought we already ended this because of some replies, but I guess you have to add fuel to the fire...this is NOT a direction this board needs to go. Seriously. Am I over reacting? Quite honestly, no. I have spent many years on the internet chats and message boards and most importantly I know how I FEEL. If I feel uncomfortable posting on a board, well, that's not a good thing. If I had to worry about people posting bashing comments and "laughing" at an idea I had, I wouldn't post. Dogg2727 gives some great advice and tips on this board and just because of this one thread, it could make him not bother sharing anything more.

Sad thing is, I'm practically repeating my previous post.

I don't want to have to come back here. I don't like online "quarrels." They are never fun. Let's just settle this.

"Stupid" and other name calling is intolerable as is purposely trying to make someone feel bad. Please stop...for everyone's sake.

flyflyeclipse you make me wanna cry. You are exactly right. I am glad she actually has brains unlike some people (not mentioning names). Secondly, about the "camera" thing. I don't have any idea why you are making this look like I am a criminal taking pictures. Geese, you should look around buddy, there are SO MANY sites with pictures like that. They even take there video camera's and tape the dang thing. You think Universal thinks that everyone of the guests wear's halo's around their heads and they act like angel's and they won't do anything like that. Polease. Wake up. Plus this isn't like code red alert. I just wanted some scenery shots. If Universal wanted, they could set up a photo shop on that Dr. Doom and sell pictures that were taken from the top of the tower. You can stop bashing me on every little move. It is getting old.

I don't see it either.

Maybe if you put the images in a paint program and highlighted the "letters" by tracing over them with a highlight color, the word "HULK" would be more recognizable.

Can the mods please close this ridiculous thread!!!

Oh and miss firefly eclipse - are you two in this together - looks that way to me.

Funny how you are defending this person, but wont believe anything else other people have to say.

I'll say one thing - the guy has one vivid imagination.

no, we aren't "together." I'm stating my opinion. :)

I wanted proof from one guy about the original plans of the Hulk...I don't know if I believe it or not...I would be very interested to see or know where he heard it from. I find it very interesting to know the Hulk wasn't what was originally going to be.

About the imagination...what can that hurt? It's good to have one, isn't it? Maybe he shouldn't have "claimed it to be true" but it was a unique and fun idea he had and I found it rather cool DESPITE if it was intentional or not. I am NOT agreeing that it was intentional, I just thought it was cool. I am also not saying that it wasn't intentional because I DO NOT KNOW. I don't know how they create rollercoasters and rides. I do not feel ashamed because it's NOT common knowledge.

:) And why do I defend? I have come across some great people on this board who give great advice and are great to talk to. dogg is one of those people and I know many many more. I'll defend these people if I want to as long as I agree with what I am defending.

REMEMBBER: I am NOT defending his idea that the coaster spelling was intentional, I was not defending that it wasn't just a creative look at the track, I was defending him against the rude comments. I think some comments on this thread were uncalled for and could have been worded nicer.

So, I'll say what I believe:

I do not know if they meant to spell "HULK" or not. Again, I do not know how they build rollercoasters. It was a bit hard to see the letters (some of them) but I could see them after looking hard. Yes, it takes imagination, but it's good he and I have one. ;)

So I DO NOT want to start any fights, please people!! If you want to fight with me...DON'T. Just leave me alone then.
