FW pool like the Carribean Beach one???

The kids pirate slide area is really cool! And more safe for younger kids! Hopefully they will have something like this at FW!

That would be great for families with kids since in the 1980's/1990's when pool hopping was O.K. the CBR was the number one pool for our sons to go to on our days off when hot.

The CBR pool does look great......if Disney is using the same design company then it looks like the fort is surely in for a treat. YES....the River Country Tower DOES resemble the BIG DIPPER, and for some reason...and completely without a reason...I have a feeling they will incorporate the tower from River Country....but, thats just a empty hunch...or maybe its just wishfull thinking. We all know, when Disney does ANYTHING, they do it big!!! So however it ends up looking....Im sure it will kick asterisk! We'll be finding out pretty soon, I hope.

Actually, the Orlando Sentinel reported as much in this article. So I suspect that the new slide will be similar to the Big Dipper, though the tank is much smaller, so the top of the slide will not likely be inside the tank. And it's more than a slide, "Disney is also adding a themed water-slide and splash-zone attraction", whatever a splash zone is. Also, there will apparently be some faux rock work involved (sorry, I can't seem to find the source for that report), probably to support the slide top and hopefully to hide the slide itself (seeing the trough is very un-Disney IMHO). I'm envisioning a "Big Thunder Mountain" look with waterslides, water-gun turrets, and sluices! Probably a little ambitious, but a boy's allowed to dream!

Actually, there appear to be two different water tanks, the one above with the wooden cross bracing and square support platform, and the one below with the steel rod cross bracing and the octagonal beam support platform. Also, the one above appears to have bulged sides, not straight. I suspect the more stylized one above will be the one used.

splash zone...wonder if that would include one of those big buckets that fill up and dump water on people, those are fun! or it may just be those water shoots like they have at downtown disney, who knows!

I can't wait to find out for sure what it looks like. I was really impressed with CBR new pool area. And if it is themed FW and has the same kinda stuff....we will be in hog heaven. Even more reasons to stay at the fort instead of hitting the parks.

Just an answer to the question in that the pool will not be like CBR. I think that expectations might be too high. But one can always, Wish Upon a Star.
