FW merchandise?

Headed down in October and just wondering if there were any more rumours about Disney bringing back FW specific merchandise? Would love to get some when we're there!

I just saw a post on another site that said they now have 2 chairs with the Fort logo on them but at a cost of $79 & $89 each I would be happy with shirts.

A few confirmations from folks who have been in the last two months or so about their conversations with CM at the Fort but the proof will be in the pudding, so to speak.

I'll believe it when I see it (or hear from it from you all) .

PS-when I posted the initial thread about the merchandise returning back in April the phrase was "within the year". I don't know if that meant until April 2012, December 2011, or when. It would be great if it was on the shelves in October but no exact dates are known.

Oh wow! I was JUST thinking about that the other day ... wishing they would bring back the resort specific merchandise!!!!!!!!!

I was just there and did not see any FW merchandise other than the totem pole and canoe stuffed animals (Mickey, Goofy, etc.) and they didn't even have the logo on them. As a matter of fact the only Fort Wilderness item I saw with the FW name on it was a pin

I remember reading in another post that they were expecting Ft. Wilderness specific merchandise to return the beginning of the year.
I will be at the Fort in November so I am hoping that the rumors are true and that the merchandise arrives a little earlier than expected.

When I was down 3 weeks ago I innocently asked at the Meadows Trading Post if they had anything with the Fort name or logo. She said no, but alot of people have been asking about it. We reminisced about the tire covers and the deck of cards I bought on a prior trip. I then asked if there were any plans to get it back. She said not that had heard. Also said she has worked at the fort for 5 years.

The annoying part is when I went resort hopping one day, I saw planty of Wilderness Lodge and Grand Floridian stuff. Hmmmm.

Clearly our mission is to keep asking each time we go in so eventually the merchandise will return just to keep us quiet! Spread the word ...

The rocking chair I believe was $82.99 and the directers chair was $72.99.
I'm pretty sure BJ's sells this same chair for half the price. I think I'm gonna check out BJ's and iron on the FW logo.

Jack Rabbit - I saw a very similar chair at Big-Lots and while I cant recall the price I wanna say around 35$ . Same set up with the table and all. Might be worth checking out.
