FW full?

I called booking the other day to hopefully be able to book a tent site for November I know because of the holiday my chances were maybe slim since i wanted to be there Nov 22-26 which is directly over the holiday but i had a second choice for the 17-20 and they had nothing available at any hotel cept the boardwalk and yacht club... is this normal? should i give it a try... a friend of mine is going down for those 2 weeks and have invited me along but they are bringing family with them so i didnt want to interfair in family things so i was going to get my own site (plus they are staying at the Wilderness Lodge and its a last minute trip so i cant afford that)... ive never camped at FW so i dont really know how it goes with booking and everything... should I keep trying to see if there are any cancellation or anything? any one have any hints pr advice?

Cancelations happen all the time, it doesn't hurt to keep trying. Good luck!

Calling in the morning is the best thing you can do. People cancel a lot in the afternoon or in the evening.
