Hi all! We are seriously considering taking the kids to the campfire/sing along with Chip and Dale at the FW resort one evening. I cannot find what time it begins so we are also contemplating doing the buffet at the Trail's End for dinner before hand (a really horrible restaurant name BTW ;)) so we won't be too pressed for time.

Thoughts, advice, reviews, warnings? :goodvibes

I went to the campfire for the first time last year and really enjoyed it. The smore kits are a bit high for what you get so you might want to bring your own if you have many others joining you. Trails end is an ok but not fab place to eat. You could also do the back yeard BBQ if you are there when its open or do the Hoop De Doo Revue...We like TE breakfasts but the other meals are just passable...Have fun the campfire, singalong and movie are great!

I love Trails End, though I prefer breakfast/lunch since they are cheaper. :)

I also bring my own Smore fixings - the ones at the campfire are pricey. The sticks are cheap, though.

We love the Trail's End! The prices are reasonable (compared to other Disney buffet restaurants) and the food is good! The atmostphere is fun and we've always had good service.

It's not gourmet dining by any means (ribs, chicken, etc) but kids enjoy it and it's a good stop before going to the campfire program!

The campfire starts at 7:30 p.m. The singalong with Chip & Dale working through the bleachers is from 8-8:20. The movie starts at 8:40 p.m.

The Trails End is a bit of a hike from the campfire, so add time for a bus or for the walk to get there.

Have a great time! We sure did; we were just there this past weekend.

I timed the walk from TE to the Meadows at 8 minutes, and it could take a couple of more definitely to get to the campfire (or a few more minutes with kids in tow).

The campfire to me is a highlight of staying onsite.

I just wanted to add to the other good info that our family actually enjoys the food at Trail's End....it's not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination but it is hearty and stick to your ribs type eating. It fits its location.

Enjoy your time visiting the Fort! :)

If I could get someone to carry my beer I could do it in 8 minutes. :lmao:
