FW campfire sing along

Can anyone tell me if the campfire sing along at FW is worthwhile? I've read that Chip and Dale are there. Any other characters? If it's worth a try, what time do we arrive and is there anything in particular we should know about it?

We really enjoy the sing along and campfire. It's fun. The kids love roasting the marshmallows. The sticks and marshmallows are only a few bucks. We've gotten some great pictures of the kids with the characters. We usually only stay for a little bit of the movie and head back.

My DD's (6 and 11) love it. We usually always go our first night there. Chip and Dale are there and mingle with the kids. The lady that leads the sing-a-long is a hoot. Really makes it fun for the kids. You can buy a smores kit for a few bucks or just marshmallows. They also have popcorn and drinks. I believe they also might have hotdogs to roast on the sticks. Get there early to get a good seat and enjoy all the festivities. We usually never end up staying for the whole movie. My kids just really enjoy all the stuff going on before the movie. I believe the resorts have a list of what movies are showing each night. I would definitely do this at least once.

We went last year with DS6, DS11, and DS17 along with DH. NOBODY liked it. The characters just sort of breezed by and DS6 was disappointed. The usual lady was off sick we heard later, and the substitute was just AWFUL. The musical members of my family were pained! We didn't even stay for the movie. I suggested trying it again sometime and got voted down.

Many years ago when we camped at FW we attended the sing a long...

I would say if you are staying at FW it is great fun and part of the FW atmosphere...
would I take my kids there just for this from another resort...probably not...

But if we ever camp there again , we'll attend...
