I will be staying at Coronado Springs but would like to go to the campfire. We are planning to go to Trails End for dinner first, but how do you get from Trails End to the campfire, as on the map they look a little distance from each other. Do i take an internal bus, or is it walkable?

Going the other way, how would I get home again? Via MK by boat I guess. So really, how far is this campfire from Trails End?

Many thanks,
Claire xx

If your plan is to going from CSR to MK and then take the boat to FW you will be dropped off at the Settlement where you will find Trails End. From Trails End you would walk up the path (to the right out of the restaurant) to the bus stop and you can take the internal bus (purple, orange or yellow) and they will drop you off at the Meadows Complex, just let the bus driver know that you are going to the campfire and they will drop you there (or advise you to take one of the other color buses, depending on who's route is quicker for you). Depending on the time of year you are there and when MK closes your options of getting back would be to take the Internal bus back to the settlement and then boat back to MK to catch your resort bus, or (if MK is closed) you can take the internal bus to the outpost (which is the main bus stop for the resort) and from there take the bus to Downtown Disney and transfer to the CSR bus from there.

10 years with the company will do that to you ;) Plus FW is my favorite place on property beacuse of how laid back it is, it's Disney but it is not he hustle and bustle you find other places...it's just very relaxing.

Hmmm...now I have a question. Is this where the Hoop de Doo is? We have res for the HDDR and I was thinking it was at WL. Is the Campfire at a different location.

Also, do you have to be staying onsite to do the campfire? We don't move onsite until AFTER our HDDR day. And (one more thing) what is the website for the movie? Thanks. Didn't mean to have so many questions.

Hoop Dee Doo is next door to Trail's End at the Settlement Depot (HDDR- my FAVORITE dinner location on Disney Property by the way). You are correct this is at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds...NOT the Wilderness Lodge (common mistake). The Campfire is open to anyone and everyone, it is not restricted and it is free of charge, something fun to do on a free night. Sorry not sure about the Movie listing web site but I am sure that someone else can get that for you (we have access to it through cast information).

Thanks! I thought they were at the same place, but wanted to be sure!
:goodvibes

O.K., now I have another question: We're staying at VWL, how late does the boat back to the resort run from FW? We have dinner reservations at Trail's End and had planned to do the campfire afterwards. I guess if the boat isn't running anymore we could walk, but not sure if I really want to do that, lol!

The boat all depends on how late MK is open... Also if the boat is not running they do run a bus from the Settlement Depot (where Trails End/ Pioneer Hall are) that stops at Wilderness Lodge. Just ask the bus driver and they will direct you :)
