Has anyone stayed in one of these cabins recently? In researching this property everyone complains about the transportation issues. I've heard Disney has made improvements in this area but haven't been able to find and guest comments newer than '01.

Can anyone offer any positive/negative comments on staying here? We are a large group so I already know 1 bath is a problem!

Thanks for any advice/opinions.

The wilderness homes are fairly new and the layout is nice for families. The resort is a wonderful relaxing retreat yet there are so many activities. I have stayed at FW several times and rarely have we had transportation problems. The new routes seem to be working well and we have never waited more then 5 minutes for a bus. You might want to post your questions on the Camping board. They are very knowledgeable and will give you some great feedback.

Another option to help with the bathroom is to request the 2100 loop. It backs up to the 1100 loop I believe and there is a path to the loop's comfort station and laundry. That way if there was intense bathroom demand, you'd have another option.

I do love the cabins, but sometimes drive to places like Downtown Disney. I always take the boat to MK, and often monorail from MK to TTC, then Epcot.
