when do you find out which cabin you stay? (upon arrive?)

Yes, when you check in, they will tell you which cabin you're in. If you have a special request, you can call and have the request added to your reservation. They will not guarantee requests, but they do their best to honor them!

Do you make your request through reservations, or by calling FW directly? I had surgery on my leg in May and use one crutch presently. I need a cabin closer to things so I'll have less walking.

You should call the Fort Wilderness desk at 407-824-2900. They now have your reservation and can take that info and request directly. Call ASAP
