Future Trips for ABD? Maybe?

There was a very short-lived trip to New York/Boston a few years ago, as well. And the DCVC-only New York trip this year.

Even though we live 35 minutes away, I would be very interested in what special sites would be included in a NYC Adventure. At least we could save on flights! Lol

I had the same thought regarding the Napa trip :) lol

I would love Hawaii - though we're already scheduled for 2 weeks there this summer. I know that Aulani offers (or offered?) some ABD excursions that you can purchase individually or in a 3-day package. I would think it would be very easy for them to add Aulani and those tours into a multi-island itinerary.

We just did a vacation in San Francisco and visited the Walt Disney Family Museum. For us, really big Disney nuts, this was a very moving experience. If ABD could combine a few nights in SF (including WDFM), a couple in the wine country (perhaps including Lassiter Winery?) and add Yosemite they would have a winner.

I would love more domestic adventures. Napa sounds great! We were able to go to the Lasseter winery on an excursion from the Disney Cruise Pixar sailings and it was magnificent! Hawaii would be great too, but getting there is difficult for someone who doesn't like to fly :) We are booked on the DVC New York trip and wish that would be open to all.

Extremely short-lived -- New York/Boston was cancelled before it even started.

After experiencing our "Running" tour of Munich (lol) I can't fathom how the guides will keep a large group together on the streets of NYC! ;-)

......and keep 'em away from those 3 card monty games and "Rolex" watches for $100.00........:lmao:

They did an great job. But you have to have your running shoes on a LOT of walking!!!!

I suggested to ABD if they did a Northern California Adventure they could do a stop at the Walt Disney Museum and a stop at Pixar Studios, among other things. Now a trip to Pixar would be EXCLUSIVE I would imagine pixiedust:

Pixar Animation Studios IS pretty awesome!!

I noticed this on the FB page too, but assumed it was more of a "teaser" and "feeler" than an announcement (sorry I'm late to the party- ivebeen busy with the holidays and just catching up on the "boards". Happy New Year everyone!)

I'd also like Japan or Brazil. Anyplace where things really require a lot of "translation" or there is a big advantage to getting "ahead" of the crowds with head of the line, exclusive access.

I can't say I'd do any of the US trips; but part of that is because Ive been most of those places already and wouldn't need those services of the Adventure Guide. But I'm sure they would do well with Europeans/Asians on those US tours. I wouldn't want to come from Japan and try to tackle NYC on my own ;)

Don't they usually announce the new trips right before they release the next year of trips? In April or May? We could guess if we can figure out where the next big Disney blockbuster is set;)

Pixar is on my bucket list..I don't like to travel non domestically since I hate to fly, and although I can visit domestic places on my own, ABD brings such exclusive access to venues they are totally worth it to me.

I'm hoping to see a China adventure announced along with the opening of Shanghai Disney. Even better would be a Hong Kong & China trip with trips to both parks.

Do you mean a modified China adventure that includes Shanghai Disney? Because there already is a China adventure, and has been since 2008. It used to include Hong Kong Disney until 2012, when they dropped that part for some reason. I agree, I'd like to see both parks some day!

Sayhello

Yup. Realized I didn't make that clear. I'd like to see one that includes the new park as part of the tour. Maybe even a special tour near the opening of it.
