I need to know how this program works, IE what must you have to sign up. Must you have a disney hotel, ticket, dining plan. And if i booked the vactation can it be for a longer time and for more people, and rooms then i have on my current trip.
The Reason i ask is I would take a 1night trip to WDW just to Book a Free Dining Vacation for Sep 2007 for my entire family of 5 so that would be two all star movie rooms for 10 days or how ever long they will let you book. the Dining would Cost us $2000 so $500 trip (Christmas Shoping) would be worth it to be sure we get the free dining. and lock in todays prices.

So Can one person spending 1 night at the all star movies go to the Future stay protram desk and set up and pay deposit on a 2 room 10 day vacation for 5 with 10 day hopers and Free Dining??????????

Thank you all for you quick help as i look for cheap airfare for next weekend!!!!!

I'm considering doing exactly the same thing - - here's hoping we get an answer! :goodvibes

I believe you just have to be a guest onsite, and know where the desk (or phones are)...Check out the home page of www.allearsnet.com for all the info...it is in the news section.

Just a thought--I wonder if you could just book a campsite? I wish I lived close enough. :) Good luck to you!

I just booked with the future stay program last weekend. I had only wanted one room BUT was told clearly by the CM who was going over the rules that since I only had one room booked at the time, I would only be able to book one room for the future stay...so the answer is no...you cannot book this for other people who would be in an additional room. ---Kathy

How much is the deposit?

Also, we are staying one night in one room at ASM in two weeks.

By August of next year however, our DS will be over the 3 year old cut off, thus putting us over the limit for the one room. (We are party of 5)

Do you guys think WDW would let us to book two rooms for the future trip even though we are in one room based on that 3 year old DS situation?

The required deposit is $200- not sure of the answer to the second question. I know they looked up my current reservation to see how many guests were on it. If they look up yours and see your family as a party of four plus an infant, then I'd hope they'd allow you to book a second room for next year when your own child is older. They have extensive records..with everyone in your household and their ages so it would be easy for them to confirm what you're needing to do. I mentioned in another thread that we got our confirmation for next year and it included mention of vouchers for Sea Raycers, miniature golf, and $15.00 at Planet Hollywood- nice! ---Kathy

Thanks Kathy for posting your info. As always it's welcome. I too wondered about the 1 room policy. For example, if a couple decided to have a nice get away, but planned to bring the kids in August, I can't imagine that Disney would discourage the parents from bringing the entire family on the next trip, especially if there are more than 2 kids in a family. If we decided to do it and wanted to bring the grandkids with us, I would like to think that they would allow me to get a second room since grandson (almost 13) would not certainly want to sleep with his 2 years old sister or his Nana....seems exceptions should be allowed for larger immediate families. JMHO. -- guess each would have to book a package if there are two people in a room--seems a little silly to do it that way.

Yes, you can fly in for one night and book your free dine. Lots of DISSers are doing it, actually. You all are right, you can book free dine for your family as long as you travel August 5 through September 29. Go to the desk at PO-Riverside and the CMS are so knowledgable and helpful. I believe you need to go in person and I know you have to be staying at a WDW resort. I booked mine and it's fantastic. The CM stated that she booked someone for 15 ights, so 10 nights is very possible. It's a 200 dollar deposit due right then, per room. You can book more than one room but it's fr the number of adults staying at WDW for your current stay...I don't know. We only booked one room.

When I booked by phone from Allstar Music; CM mentioned that we could book 2 rooms-one under my husband's name and one under my own. We only needed one. Perhaps you can add your husband's name to the room reservation before heading down.

Not true.... All you have to do is book one room under your name and the other under my husbands (who was not at the resort when I booked) and put down two deposits the CM told me I can later change the name to whom ever I want. I was also told I can add another room if need be.

Well, this was the information I got from the reservations CM...only one room could be booked for the future stay program if I had one room booked at the time. Maybe you were told something different but this was "true" when I booked. ---Kathy

If your next trip includes 5 people(without an infant) staying in a value resort, they HAVE to allow you to book 2 rooms. The system won't allow you to book 5 in a regular value room.

I think the OP will be fine. :wizard:

I just booked the bounce back program. I stayed at CBR with my husband and was able to book 2 rooms for september, each of us putting our names on each room. But I needed to book another 2 rooms and wasn't able to, except that I checked out of CBR and into Saratoga Springs and therefore had a separate new reservation and was able to book another 2 rooms. BUT I was told I could not change the names of the main person in each room making the reservation, i.e. my husband and I have to remain on each room reservation. So, if someone is able to change the names on their reservation I'd love to know how!

You don't need to have Park Tickets (or package) on your current stay to get the Future Stay Bounce Back? You could really just book a one night stay at a WDW hotel, say next week, and you could get in on the program? Hmmmm.....something to think about!

My husband and I spoke to a wonderful cast member named Meredeth at the Beach Club (She was at the Cruise Line desk by the elevators) and we were told that we could book 2 rooms, one in my name and another in my husband's, but that we could not book a seperate room for a person who was not with us. That person had to stay in the room with us.

That is exactly what we were told on the phone today when we checked on it. (We're at Ft. Wilderness right now).

We could book one room for each adult (two) that is currently here right now .

We actually need three rooms in September for five adults, so what we're going to do is book two rooms on the package, probably at POP, one with three adults (and pay the $10 extra per night) and one with two adults. Our fifth adult will then book his own room only under a passholder rate or AAA rate. He will simply have two room keys, one for his room that he will actually sleep in, and the other key as the third adult on the room with his dining credits on them.
