Future Cruise Certificate

Anybody heard if these certificates will be extended at all? I would understand them not being extended if the ships weren't sailing for a month or two but this is ongoing and heavens only knows when they will actually run again.
I could call and ask but where would the fun in that be??

I haven’t heard anything either. I’ve lost 2 because I canceled 2 cruises. I wanted to move the cruises to keep them but gave up trying to make it work. One expires November 2020 and the other February 2021. dates I don’t plan to cruise by. I pushed an existing Jan cruise to April and not optimistic about that. I have placeholders for September, November 2021 and january 2022. Hoping they get some extra time added.

Are you talking about an onboard booking credit? Currently, they haven't been extending those.

If you mean the future cruise credit that people are getting from the canceled cruises, I believe those may have had their "use by" date changed at least once.

Thanks Shmoo, I was talking about the future cruise certificates, the ones you purchase on board. Not the future cruise credits that are being given for canceled cruises.
I did call and while they are not extending them yet the agent said that it is a possibility going forward. She said not to write it off as they are making changes to a lot of things and that could be one of the changes we will see.

tks. My TA called about the extension too, but was about a month ago. If your cruise is canceled by dcl they will extend them. That was The last thing I heard. I have 2 tied to my 2 2021 cruises and 2 not assigned ones.
