So right now im only a sophmore in highschool but since i found out about the DCP in middle school its all ive wanted to do. i hope someday to work my way up to resort manager or Disney wedding planner. anyway my real question is how do you know when applications come out?

Join a Facebook group for the semester you want to apply for when it goes closer. Things in there go nuts when apps drop. Lol

But in all seriousness, disney never sets a specific date for apps, so just continually check their website. Apps normally drop the end of august/beginning of September for spring, and end of January/beginning of February for fall.

You can also sign up for email updates! They should email you when apps open. Unfortunately, I can't post the link because I don't have enough posts, but if you search around on the DCP website, you'll probably be able to find it. But just keep in mind that they might not email you AS SOON as apps open…I got the email an entire day after apps opened this past round. But it's better than nothing! (I knew apps were open before I got the email because I was obsessively checking the website haha)

Once the application is open, it is available for several weeks. It doesn't matter when you apply as long as you apply when it is open. Applying on the first day does not mean you will get in (or even get an interview) and applying on the last day doesn't mean it either.

This is true that when you apply doesn't matter, but realize that acceptances happen on a rolling basis!!
