So, back in January, my hubby and I buy a new bedroom suite.
We love it. All but the armoire is ready, and they tell us it will be 4-6 weeks until we get it.
Fast forward to MAY and we still hadn't gotten it. There has been excuse after excuse. I am annoyed, but not too upset. I call and they tell me that it has come in and they will send somebody with it on Tuesday. Tuesday they call hubby and say they can't make it.
I call and tell them that I've been really nice up until this point, but I have taken off work for them to come, they said they would come, and I expect them to come.
So, the lady on the phone is VERY polite and says if I can be home earlier, they can make it.
I am happy and head home. Sure enough, they get there and I open the door. I'm home alone with the baby and open the door and there are these two HUGE dudes at the door. Kinda intimidating since I am home by myself, but I open the door anyway.
One of them obviously looks me up and down and says, "Ohhhhhhh.......I hear you been raising some HAY-UL!"
I didn't no what to say, so I just blushed
and said that I had been nice. They are friendly the rest of the time and I don't think he was being malicious in saying I had been raising HAY-UL.........but seriouly, who does that? Who says that to a customer? When I worked in a service job, there were definitely customers that I probably thought that about, but I would NEVER be anything but polite to them. How is that okay to do in this day and age?
On top of all that, the armoire was broken so they have to come back tomorrow.
