Funtown/Splashtown in Saco, ME...is there a picnic area?

The sun has finally come out after what has felt like 3 weeks of clouds and rain so DH and I are taking DD15 and a friend to Funtown tomorrow (part of her bday present) and in trying to save some $$ I thought maybe I'd pack a cooler for lunch and supper that we'd leave in the car but it's been years since we've been to Funtown so I don't remember if there's a picnic area or not. I can only assume the food venues are as expensive as Disney.

Yes there are places to picnic. I brought a picnic last time I went there - I carried it around the park (small soft sided cooler) as I don't do rides (I took my cousin for her birthday - hubby and I watched them on the rides).

Food isn't super expensive (but I don't think Disney is super expensive either...) - but it's also not very GOOD. Ick. Even the pizza is gross (and it's really hard to mess up pizza in my opinion!)

Bring your own, definitely!

sounds wonderful and IT IS wonderful to finally have a sun day........My neighbors watched the forecast and took her kiddos to NH to Canibe park or however you spell it.........She was going to go to Fun town today but the weather for Maine was iffy.....and NH had a better forecast.........
YIPPEE it is sunny and we love it.....
