Someone brought in a 12 pack tray of muffins from the Costco. Anyway, when I walked by the table with the food, someone actually cut the top of one of the muffins and left the bottom on the plate...... 
Is that like taking the top part off a cupcake and leaving the bottom half for someone else?
Everyone knows that's the best part of the muffin! It's not like taking 1/2 a bagel where each piece is of equal value....
