Funny Travel Story

[NADINENURSE]

Had to post this. We sold our SUV, are driving down in a KIA SOUL with 4 chubby adults including my 21 year old fashion crazy DD (she changes 3 x a day thank god she works and buys her own clothes !) and my w/c on the roof rack. Family has been told we are all limited to 4 outfits , 1 bathing suit each. We r staying in our time share w washer and dryer.DD is so distressed at this lack of "adequate" clothing changes she has decided she will wear 4 layers of outfits on the ride down from NY to WDW, my husband and son were laughing so hard they spewed milk that they were drinking, sadly however DD is serious ..I have come up with an alternative and she will be shipping her "clothing needs"..even with space bags, she still could not get the desired # of outfits, you can imagine what it was like when we cruised for a week

Too funny! I got an awesome deal on a full-size rental. I will be stuffing 2 Adults and 3 teenage girls and all the "baggage" into a Ford Fusion for a 950-mile excursion next week. I've looked at upgrading to an SUV or minivan but I have such an awesome deal! Haha

I'm imagining her slowly heating up as you get closer and closer to WDW with those 4 layers on.

On our first few trips we always brought back something that wasn't worn so now we just take...surprise, 3 or 4 outfits each and plan to have a laundry day while there. It just works better for us.

We were wondering how would she bend or go to the bathroom so she gave us a visual : besides bra and panties, she had on 2 tank tops, 1 short sleeve shirt, I summer maxi dress, 1 light hoodie, 2 pair of leggings, another shirt tied around her waist, and since the a/c will be in the car and she says she freezes, another lite jacket around her neck as well will be going in October. And yes,she can bend.. Therefore I have nothing to say....please don't even ask about the special grooming articles that go along with a fashionable DD. LOL:

Yep all kids are nuts. Lol. Our 6 year old says and does some pretty crazy things as well. Things where you just smile and nod. Lol. Too funny. Let us know how the journey goes.

Two DDs age 16 with already multi-layered outfits in our family. DH says they are prepping for losing poker.
