Funny thing on The View today

Someone in the audience held up four pictures of faces with one word under each..here is how they read

#1 Photo of Pope Benedict read....."POPE"

#2 Photo of George W. read.........."DOPE"

#3 Photo of McCain read.............."NOPE"

#4 Photo of Obama read.............."HOPE"

Actually, to be perfectly totally honest..I couldn't really make out the last two pictures. The panel was talking about Obama when they looked out at the audience, and since Obama's motto has been "HOPE", I figured it was the way I OP'd it.

It's still FUNNY either way!!

I rarely ever watch TV, but I caught that, and I agree, it was funny.

McCain's photo was "Nope" and Obama's was "Hope."

I fail to see where the humor is in this...

I thought the whole premise of "The View" was to present a VARIETY of viewpoints on subjects. Apparently I was misinformed. Poor Elizabeth should find a better job where she is treated with respect. That show has become nothing but trash ever since Lisa Ling left it.

A variety of viewpoints also includes those who like Obama. And this was an audience member.

If 'poor' Elizabeth wanted to leave, she would.

The ONLY viewpoint acknowledged on that show is of undying love for Obama. Elizabeth never gets a word in edgewise before she gets cut off and disregarded by one of the others....and you can't tell me that if someone was sitting in the audience with a McCain poster they'd have been admitted to the audience. I've worked in TV-I know how that goes.

They don't have anything but disdain for anyone else that might have a different opinion, as made obvious by their disrespect for Elizabeth, and most recently John McCain himself.

Seriously- someone needs to take Whoopi and set her down with the constitution to read it because obviously she never has. Her treatment of McCain last week was just beyond ignorance. I used to like her, too.
