Funny stories.

Well, we were in wdw this summer(july) and we all had high hopes of meeting a DISer. Well, mom(dmslush) and I did, ken just doesn't get the whole DISing thing. So we are in line to get into a park MGM I think. We are looking around and we see this guy with a lime green ribbon on his backpack. Personally I am wearing lime green and I have a lime green scrunchie on my bag. He is a few lines away so mom tells me to try and ask him if he is a DISer when the parks open and we can get in. A few minutes later the parks open up, we are both let in, and I stop this guy. I ask him if he is a member of an online community called DISboards. He looks at me funny and said "uh....not that I know of" then I (very embarrassed) reply, "oh, I'm sorry. It is just you have that lime green ribbon on your bag, and that is our colour. That is how we meet up." he laughes and said, "nope, the airport put that on." we both laugh and go on about our day. But I NEVER stopped anyone ELSE after that.

Do you have a funny wdw story to lighten the mood around here?

not like that, but when we were riding PotC we were at the part where it's real dark and you see the ship in the dark water and guns being shot. Well some of the water splashed up at my mom and she got wet. we all started laughing saying my mom got shot. everyone in the boat heard us and all started laughing too.

yeah, about the same time. I didn't see anyone in lime green while I was there

Never had an experience like that, but to be honest I am not the most observant person. I am really bad about that. Next time I go though I will try to keep my eyes open for lime green shirts. Sad to say though our next trip won't be until Spring break 2007. Have to save up for it.

Well, you're braver than me. I was at the Poly pool this summer and saw a woman and her kids there. I finally realized that the woman was a DISer...didn't know her screen name, though. My brothers told me to go talk to her, but I didn't...I said, it can't be her and she'll just think I'm crazy.

So, I come home and am looking at posts and I see the woman's picture and, sure enough, she was at the Poly the same time as me. So, I post a message to *Fantasia*, asking if she was at the Poly pool when we were and, sure enough, she was. I could've had my first DIS meet! Oh, well. Maybe next time I won't be so nervous about it.

DD "Oh. Well there was a Volkswagon on my head and Tyler hit it..."

Ok. My all time most embarassing story that gets told anytime I eat dinner at my friends house

I was eating dinner at my friend Natalie's house, she has a little welsh corgi who walks around under the table and I felt something furry, so I started patting what I thought was Bullet. Well Natalie's dad turned to me and said "Umm, what are you doing?" and I looked under the table and it wasn't Bullet! It was her dad's leg!
