Funny photo processing story

I posted this elsewhere, but thought you guys here might appreciate it too.

Well it's a rainy day here and I'm trying to get motivated to start my scrapbook. Thought I'd share a funny story about my 1000 pictures. I knew I would only need a fraction of those for my scrapbook so Sat night and Sun morning I went through them all with a fine tooth comb and picked out 256 of my favorites. I uploaded them to the one hour program on walmart.com since DH had to go there that morning anyway and I knew he could easily pick them up.

So DH arrives at our WalMart [two hours later] and the woman behind the photo counter is in a full tizzy. She says, while still in motion, "can I help you?" and DH says "yes, I'm here to pick up my pictures". She then says "well, it's going to be a minute, I'm in the middle of doing a huge order". Just as she says that, DH sees this picture drop down from the machine...

... it's my DS9 fooling around in Norway, his favorite pavilion. DH was like, "no problem, take your time. BTW, I think that's the order my wife sent you", LOL. She proceeded to berate him for my sending so many pictures online. Anyway, we've been laughing about it all week, that picture will forever be a classic in our house.

That is a funny story!! We have a pic of our DS with the same thing on and we love it, however, he does not!! It is one of those pictures that need to be put in the High School Graduation slide show...he-he...He will not be impressed!!

tsk tsk tsk....can you imagine if you had the nerve to sent them all she would have had to have been resuscitated and that pic is a good one to hang onto till he gets a girlfriend you want to mortify him in front of ( bawahhhha, evil parent laugh)

LOL.....our DD called from KS to tell me about your post!! She thought it was funny because they were at WDW in Oct for Halloween party and she had taken about 1200+ pics and gave them to us on a DVD. I told her that I had sent some off to Snapfish and had just gotten them back....she asked me which ones I had printed....and, I told her a BUNCH....then I told her that I couldn't make up my mind....so, I just had 560 of them printed.....LOL Snapfish didn't mind the big order at all...and, I had them in about 3 days. I had experienced a problem with our local 1hr photo centers too...a long time ago.
