We regret to inform you that Funnymoney.com has formally ceased operations effective August 30, 2002. As valued members, we hope you found our site to be exciting, entertaining and rewarding.
Consistent with our established Privacy Policy, please rest assured that none of your personally identifiable information will be disclosed, revealed, transferred, conveyed, assigned or disclosed to any other third party, person or entity. We will retain all personally identifiable information for a sufficient time period as necessary to legally wind up operations and comply with all applicable State and Federal laws. After this time period has expired, we will permanently destroy all members personally identifiable information.
Consistent with our Terms of Service and maintaining our commitment to our valued members, members are eligible to exchange all accrued Funny Money present in their account for United States dollars. To be eligible for cash out, a member must, on or before midnight (Pacific Standard Time) on September 30, 2002, send an email to customercare@funnymoney.com, and provide the following information: (1) the members name; (2) password; (3) address where a check payable in United States dollars should be mailed for all Funny Money subject to exchange; and (4) a request that Funnymoney.com exchange all of a members accrued Funny Money for United States dollars. Each member assumes the responsibility for timely submitting the above request and ensuring that all information is accurate. No late requests will be accepted. Only the original member may submit a request for exchange.
A members ability to exchange Funny Money for United States dollars is conditioned upon a members account satisfying all requisite Terms of Service and web site rules, including, but not limited to: (1) the members account is active and in good standing; (2) no attempt is made to fraudulently or improperly convert or exchange Funny Money not belonging to the sole, original owner; (3) the members name and password exactly match that on file with Funnymoney.com; and (4) a members account contains the minimum required spending level of ten thousand (10,000) Funny Money.
