Up to about 20 years ago PHL Philadelphia airport was the only one I can recall where you actually had to show your baggage claim receipt to an employee before you could leave the area.

But it’s not like they really matched your receipt to the tag on your bag. They usually just gave a quick glance.

New Orleans commonly does check, especially when crowds come in for major football game events; those folks tend to have easy-to-sell designer clothing items in their bags.

Crazy Hard Rock Park came up. Last week I went down the rabbit hole on YouTube and learned about Hard Rock theme park. The documentary on it is really interesting. Basically, it failed due to recession and billing debts.

If you have 25 minutes it is worth the watch. Bright Sun Films does some great work.
