In a similar vein, I've always thought high fructose corn syrup wouldn't have such a bad rap if it had instead been named corn milk.

A coworker after a morning operations meeting we had to come in on our day off for asked if I wanted to go with him up to the shoe place as he needed to get new work boots. I needed a new pair as well, so sure. We stopped at the breakfast buffet. He has diabetes pretty bad. He comes back to the table and says, "Wonder what she'll say if I ask for sugar free syrup." I looked at his plate, "You'd better not ask with that plate in front of you." "Yeah, I prepared, took 3 extra pills this morning." LOL
