I agree with most of that, except the time when it "feels like" a season has started partly depends on the climate of the area where you live. For some regions, the official start of the season is ahead of when the weather "feels like" that season.Since seasons begin/end on the equinox or solstice, that is currently the parameter.
Summer still has another week to go. Winter doesn't start until most of the way through Dec. All the seasons' actual beginnings are about a month behind when it "feels like" that season started.
