You might have to be from Michigan to truly appreciate this. Sandy is actually resting in the stable during Covid-19 but he/she is missed. I always liked seeing people leave pennies on the horse's base to make sure any kid could ride.

Out on the floor. The Meijer closest to me has Sandy up against a wall past the check out lanes. I have a picture on my computer that I took a couple years ago when they had Sandy all dressed up for Christmas.

I forget that Meijer has moved into many new states. I remember when there were only a few stores in Michigan and they were called Meijer's Thrifty Acres. I am reveling me to be old.
