Do you have any funny job interview stories?

Two years ago I interviewed with a big consulting firm. I was wearing these really cute, really tight pumps, and I walked to the interview, so once I sat down and we began talking, my feet were really killing me. I took my shoes off under the table (big tablecloth, I figured he'd never know) and was stretching my feet, pointing back and forth, back and forth - and then I stretched my foot against the center leg of the round table - but nope, that wasn't the center leg. That was my very tall interviewer's leg, and I was rhythmically nudging it with my stockinged foot.

I apologized profusely, but that interview was pretty much over!

Not with me, but this was embarassing for my friend.

She was interviewing for a mechanical engineering position. THe interview was with a male senior partner in the firm. She is a smart woman, but attrative as well.. blond hair, blue eyes., etc...

Anyway, she wore a suit which was one of these double breasted button tops... and she didn't wear a camisole underneath, just a bra...

Well it was raining, and she was taking off her raincoat, and the inside button of the raincoat, got tangled with one the double breasted buttons.. and as she took off her coat, her suit top came off with it! There she is practically in her bra... with this going on....

She was so embarassed!

I once interviewed with a man who had little strings of spit that connected his two lips. I couldn't concentrate on what he was saying because as he talked they flipped around and vibrated. It was so hard to give answers to his questions because of my grossed out fascination with his mouth. No telling what I said to him.

we were just talking about this at work the other day. LOL

not me, but someone i work with was interviewing for a job one time and they asked why he thought he would be good for the job. my friend said that he could "read people" well. on the spot, the interviewer said "read me."

he was so taken back that he got all flustered. oops! :p
