I just remembered this. We waited in line for WWTBAM with a couple of older women and what looked like a grandson. The grandson was about 7 or 8 and very nice--he had a lot of Warner Brothers pins, and gave my 4 year old DS a SeaWorld pin with a clydesdale on it. They had an older gentleman in a wheelchair with them also, but he waited outside the line until it opened up.
Well after the show, as I was getting our stroller, I guess the party had trouble with the wheelchair. It was hard to steer or something--DH saw the incident, not me. What was funny was that one of the women said "this boy is Roy Disney's grandson and you'll hear about this!"
So DH and the kids are telling me that this boy who gave DS a pin is Roy Disney's grandson. I was just laughing because
1) do you think Roy's grandchildren wait in line??
2) that would make these people Roy's in-laws--assuming Roy is the boy's grandfather on one side, they would be his grandparents on the other side. While they were very nice, they weren't dressed as if they were intimately related to Disneys.
3) Why did the boy only WB and Universal pins????
It was an inventive way for the woman to complain, though, you have to give her credit. And now my DDs are sure they saw Roy Disney's grandson!!
