Funny Hubby

You're perfectly normal :goodvibes

I only plan which parks to go to on a certain day & make one ADR per day (which is already done) and I am still on these boards every time I turn on my laptop!

i am begging DH for a lap top so that i can spend more time with him (ok- well, next to him anyway) instead of in the other room! :lmao:
(Laughing) DH constantly reminds me in the evening that I can use the laptop downstairs and "be sociable". Yeah, he's watching TV and I'm using the laptop, that's being sociable? :rotfl2:

Whatever...on my way downstairs... :)

I honestly don't know what to think about my husband. :confused3 He acts all grumpy about this trip, doesn't want to see the schedule or anything.
(I bought him Grumpy tshirts for the park! :lmao: ) Doesn't act like he's interested in anything. Makes out like he's going just for me.

But when I made reservations at Cinderellas table for our 3 year old daughter, he wanted to come!

My big guy is going to sit at a table in cinderella's castle and eat with my 3 dd's, who will be in costume, and I. I am shocked.

He never ceases to amaze me. :rotfl2:

My DH enjoys going to WDW, but he really isn't into the planning part. Last trip I asked for input and it was basically "whatever you think is best..." This time around I asked if there was anywhere new he would like to eat and he did look through the book and did request to go back to 2 from last time and he selected a new place to try. That's a big step for him!!!

DS is a little young but did put in his request for the Sci Fi Diner and believe it or not DD has been the one looking through books and over my shoulders while on the DIS!

We also travel with my cousin & his family and it's great because she doesn't enjoy the planning stages, but is great to plan our routes in the parks & I'm a horrible navigator! This is also a great excuse to sit in the lounge at the Poly every night and tell our DHs that we are planning what to do at the parks the next day!!! :cloud9:

My DH also acts as if he is indulging me. It's like pulling teeth to get him to agree to a vacation, then he complains about the money, the flight, the hassle, leaving work behind, how he'll miss the comforts of home...

But once we're ON VACATION he has a great time, and is more relaxed than I've ever seen him. And he'll usually say something like, "Wow, this is awesome! We really need to do this more often!" (Sigh)

I think the trick will be to get him to commit to the next vacation while on the current one, maybe that will work...

I was laying in bed last night and all I could think of is our trip which is more than 8 months away and I am thinking my DH might just be right. I think I am possessed. Saying that however I don't want any kind of exorcism. I like being this way.

:rotfl: I am also obsessed and possessed. My hubby says he hates it when I head off to the DIS boards and says he and the kids will miss me. He felt all this planning is just crazy, but he's already said now how glad he is that I did it and that we'll have a great vacation thanks to me. There's something to be said for being Disney-challenged! :grouphug:

Moving thread from the "Welcome to the DIS" forum to the Community Board... :sunny:
