I just had to share this funny comment I heard last night. We are currently in Williamsburg, VA and one would think that WDW would not immediately come up in converation. Anyway, I was talking to a lady a couple rooms down who is here with her grandchildren. We were discussing Busch Garens-Europe here in Williamsburg and I mentioned that the kids had a lot of fun and really enjoyed themselves but it just didn't have that wow factor that we feel at WDW. She mentioned that they have wintered in the Orlando area and had had season passes. She said that they often went to WDW but eventually got bored with it. I didn't have a problem with that; you know everyone has their own tolerance level of different things. Then she added the reason they decided that they weren't that interested in WDW. "Every where you look, there's that mouse. It's all about that mouse!" I really did not have a response to that. I know Mickey (interestingly she only commented about THAT mouse but never said Mickey.) is everywhere at WDW in one fashion or another and being a Disney fanatic it doesn't bother me, I expect it- After all it "all started with a Mouse"!!!
But evidently THAT MOUSE troubles her. It was made all the funnier by how emphatic she was! Nice lady though, and my children have had lots of fun talking, playing and enjoying her grandchildren.
