I have 3 cats if i wear any other colour than black i do not see them...

cats really are marking you with thier scent,, they have scent glands in the face that they will use to mark thier people,, thier furniture,, thier pillow on t he bed etc shadow is so sweet when he does it,, he will litterally hug you when you pick him up and he'll start rubbing his cheek against yours

Heh. Actually there are two reasons. Watch where your kitty is rubbing on her body.

Cats have scent glands on their cheeks. Thats why they rub their cheeks against things. They are marking their territory. If they rub the sides of their bodies against you, its a gesture of affection. The same with the top of their head.
