>> Funniest Overheard Comments Part II <<

OMG I have just sat for the last few hours on and off, laughing my head off. The story about the Dad calling his son, "Marco," really cracked me up. My friend (who is going to Disney with me next week) and I always play Marco Polo to find each other in a store, and we taught my daughters (4&6.5) to play so if I can't see them in a store, I can find them easily.

I can hear them now...
"Mommy, somebody must be lost."

Here's another- we were watching Mickey's PhilharMagic and those of you who have seen it know that at the end, Donald goes crashing into the back wall. As he says "Uh oh" and falls down the hole and crashes, a little girl in the row in front of me yells "Are you alright Donald?!" loud enough for everyone to hear her. It was so cute.

That's the sweetest thing I've heard in a long time!

We weren't yet in WDW, at the Orlando Airport and my dad (obviously suffering from jet lag) says, "I wonder what time zone the airports use? There are so many people from different places, how do they know which one to use?". !!! I just turned and stared at him for a long LOOONG while and said, in the calmest, steadiest voice I could muster, "Uh...the time zone the airport is in." I still ask him that every time we leave our area. "I wonder what time zone this McDonald's uses..." :rotfl2:

That one had me :rotfl:! Good one!

Actually, that's not a bad question. Yes of course the clock on the wall will be local time, but the planes and airport operations will be on Universal Coordinated Time (or Zulu, for short). So while the clocks might have said one thing, the rest of the airport was +5 hours ahead of EST.

While riding Expedition: Everest:

"Hey, Ma! Look! I can see EPCOCK from here!"

:rotfl:

(Note the title of my current TR in my sig...haha!)

We were on the way to Magic Kingdom via the monorail one night and I heard a little girl say "Look, I can see the Haunted Mansion!". I smiled, thinking she mistook the Astro Orbiter for it. A few minutes later, the same girl said "See the blue castle over there? It's the Haunted Mansion!".

I think I overheard a silly British boy calling Expedition: Everest, "Expederest" ;)

It did look a bit haunted the year Stitch got hold of it. :rotfl:

Last week we were walking by the Poly Pool and we passed a family of six going in the opposite direction. The obviously American mom said to the American dad, while their four kids trailed along behind them:

"If you want to do the Speedo thing, you have to be ready to take the heat".

We adore Captain EO. However, my mom is never very good with names in general and started calling the attraction Captain Eeyore! My 4 year old son really loved that one! He kept correcting his grandmother, "no grandma, it is not Eeyore, just EO!":rotfl:

We were on the ride in Mexico and as we're going by the restaurant my DSD who is 13, asked "Are those real people eating?" :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Ok, this is a little vile but I just have to share.

On our most recent trip about 6 weeks ago, we were on the Haunted Mansion and the ride was stopped, presumably to let someone on who couldn't walk on the moving walkway. No problem, I love when that happens as I get to look at all the detailing for a moment longer (bonus points if I'm rear facing and going downhill at the time!)

We were in one of the more quiet rooms when this happened, and then all of a sudden, I heard it. From the doombuggy behind us, I heard the loudest, nastiest fart in the history of the world... and then the gas passer loudly proclaimed "GEEZ, smells like somethin' DIED in here!"

At first I was like :scared1:, but then I was all :lmao:

Let's hope that's one ghost that didn't "follow you home. Bwahahaha!"

We were walking around Epcot and Tigger was out for a character interaction and someone said "Look honey, its Tony the Tigger" We almost said "Its greeaat!!!"

We just got back from our trip to the World. I've been reading this thread and the previous, so I kept my ears open for some funny comments while we were there. The best ones always happen in the bathroom. lol

I walked into the women's room and the only open stall was next to a little girl crying. Her mom was trying to quiet her down. The little girl kept wailing, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! I was just so excited!" This went on for a few minutes then finally the mom said, "It's okay. We all have accidents, and I'm cleaning you up. But for heaven's sake, please stop crying! I'm the victim here!"

While leaving the Laugh Floor, a dad kept telling his kids not-so-funny jokes, and apparently they had heard enough. The little boy (about age 5) turned to his dad and said, "Dad, please. It's not like you're Goofy or something."

In line for Haunted Mansion- "Is this a roller coaster?"

There are others. I'll have to remember them.
