Have you ever seen a thread that included a question or just a comment that wasn't really meant to be funny, but you couldn't help but think it was?

I remember a while back when I first came here, there was one that asked whether they needed a PS for the Arctic Expedition. I think about it now, and just want to laugh because like the reply they got "it's only a snow cone stand!"

do you mean like when you come on and theres another thread asking if IASW has reopened yet or not or about how crush n gusher is?

yeah, just questions, or stories you found to be either ridiculous or like "hmm...you don't even have to search for that answer" (Like the IASW question).

I also miss the pee in the popcorn thread, which I never could seem to find after a while. Now that was strange.

There is a thread in this folder called "Have you ever had a shock" that is hilarious!
It's very long, like 88 pages, but well worth the read.

Right after i joined at the beginning of this year there was a thread all about cremating a loved one and following their wishes of spreading them over WDW/Disney property somewhere. It's against official Disney policy but some had stories of how they "sneaked" their relatives in and it got funny at some parts. I read the whole thread, which was pretty long, and thought it was hilarious!! :rotfl:

OMG! I'll have to seach for that thread! Some friends and I were talking about that not too long ago and I was wondering if anyone had ever had their ashes spread in WDW. I figured it would be frowned upon, but when there is a WILL there is a way. bahahahaha :rotfl:

I was enjoying the intimacy thread but it got locked. Actually, it seems all the threads that I really love get locked. Sigh, I guess I must have a perverted sense of humor or something.

If you want REALLY strange threads, visit the Community Board. They aren't on Disney topics, but there are some doozies.

I remember the ashes thread! Someone said that on the Garden tour, they used to let people mix the ashes with the dirt they used for the plants in EPCOT.

:bitelip: Hmmmm....tapping finger to chin...I want to be cremated...never thought of being smuggled into Disney to be (cough) "disposed of". I must give this some serious "thinkin' over". :hourglass

What about the CORN PEOPLE!!! That was a classic! Apparently some people were seen on Main Street at the MK eating a can of creamed corn?

Of course, any discussions of 5 people in a room, refillable mugs from the past, saving of pool chairs, smoking, etc. usually get amusing to read!

There was a thread not too long ago on one of the other forums (can't remember which one) asking women how they keep things neat "down there" (i.e., bikini waxing, shaving, etc.). I was amazed at the number of women who answered very seriously. Totally bizarre and very funny!

Have you seen the current thread about this Nara Dreamland place in Japan? Totally freaky but definitely worth a look.

Gosh, that creamed corn thread must have been a hoot! I also like the one about the family bringing a crock pot to a resort room and cooked some kind of sauerkraut and sausage thing, thereby, stinking up the whole building!

My personal favorite (I don't know if it was actually MEANT to be serious or funny) was the one earlier this year about body odor at WDW! Sad thing is, humor aside, this stuff was true :rotfl2: !

I may have either started that thread or, at least, participated in it. I talked with my kids about leaving a provision in my will to finance a family trip, without me (kinda). I suggested cremation and ashes placed in small plastic packets (OK, storage bags) and having family members scatter them throughout WDW, wherever they thought would make me happy. They just lowered their eyes and muttered something about how old Dad has lost it. I was serious but couldn't help thinking that maybe I was one or two sandwiches short of a picnic. After reading the rest of the posts I didn't feel so bad about it. My family still, for some reason, can't seem to picture themselves carrying me along with them or trying to explain the powdery stuff to the security people at the airport. However, they are still interested in the trip, at my ultimate expense. Oh well, I tried.

:teeth:

Okay..recently on the cruise board there was a strange thread. Someone had posted asking if they were allowed to bring their own toilet paper on board the ship!! :rotfl:

I dunno..maybe it's just me, but I have never worried about the TP on a ship when I'm planning a fabulous cruise! :boat:

My faves from the past include:

Attack of the Corn People :rotfl:
Emu Legs vs. Turkey Legs (always a classic)
Can I Bring My: Foreman grill/Toaster Oven/Microwave/Maytag Washer (pick one)

and any thread that states: My Vacation Will Absolutely be Ruined if I Can't get Cindy's for Breakfast

I'll never forget the one about the foreign lady in the women's restroom stall doing her business in her hand. Absolutely hilarious (and gross). :crazy2:
