Funnest WDW Kid Resort

So what Value, Mod or Deluxe resort would you suggest as the one a kid might like the most to stay at?? (My kids are 4,girl & 7,boy)? Which has the best pools, grounds and play stuff for them away from the park? Thanks!

We have only stayed at AKL with our kids, so that's the only hotel I can tell you about first-hand. My kids loved it!

There are so many activities to do: animal viewing, night viewing, flamingo feedings, animal tracking, junior researcher, cookie decorating, animal games, music of the savanna, medallion rubbings, great pool with lifeguard games, arts & crafts w/ the lifeguards, hidden mickey hunt, nightly storytelling by the firepit, and a great gift shop which my kids loved.

On our last trip, we extended our vacation just to have some time to participate in the activities at the hotel. It was great - and very relaxing.

We've stayed at ASMu, CBR, WL, AKL, Poly, BWI, GF, YC in the last five years. My kids are now 11 and 9. I've asked them which resorts they'd like to return to.
DS says WL and CBR
DD says AKL and BWI

We are looking at AKL, POFQ and Pop Century that interest us in each catagory.. What does the CBR have that is cool???

The Poly has a fantastic pool, you can see the castle from the grounds, a beach, character breakfast with Mickey, great food, and the monorail.

It's hard to beat.

We've only been once and stayed at Pop last Sept. But we are going back this Sept and were booked to stay at CSR but change to WL yesterday!! The DD's (8 & 3) wanted to stay at Pop again. We had a really good experience at Pop but just wanted to upgrade, as WL seems to have alot to offer, from what I've learned on this site! However the gold for me would absolutely be the Poly!!
