Its cold today.. I am freezing.. I need to put some meat on my bones..

Thanks jenn for sticking around and chatting with us. We appreciate it! you’re my newest best friend., have a best friend so you can be best friend number 2!

And I found like MORE GREY HAIR:mad:.. and I have had this since I was 27, it’s kinda not cool, but anyhow now you know why I dye my hair blonde(its to cover my aging characteristics) ..anyhow so I my roots and the areas that are not blonde are my natural hair color –dark brown- and I noticed this morning as I was doing my hair that as clear as day you can see and I mean see silver and non silver grey hairs:scared1:…

and I am totally thinking of telling her to cover up the grey more..because it just doesn’t look good on a 31 year old female to have a ton load of grey hours streaming out in the sunlight! :sad2:

Sara- I saw this post and it made me laugh!! I'm the same way, it's really bad. Both my grandmas were kind enough to pass that down to me. When I color my hair, I have to do that root touch-up color like 3 weeks later. :headache: I hate it!! My stupid sister has blonde hair so even if she does have any, she wouldn't know!

Ok, question to anyone who reads Sara's thread, our kitchen is finally about to be done!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: I'm hoping to get in there and cook all weekend long. The thing is, I don't know what the first meal should be, if it's Friday, it'll be dinner. I want to christen the stove top with a proper meal, not just hamburgers or steak.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking Mexican or Italian. My cousin gave me an idea of enchiladas with homemade enchilada sauce, I have to look into that one. But I just don't know? I know for the oven, it's definitely going to be chocolate chip cookies, I gotta figure out the whole temp thing to make sure they cook the right way.

So let me know if you can come up with something!!

Ok what is your stove? Like what kind? What model? Come on spill the beans.. I got a great stove too..

Is it a range/oven combination?

yeah i think it is skiingfast. but i want to now what one it is.. there is different brands

Kim you’re my other best-est friend also!!! both you and jenn. And kim now that your remodel is done maybe you can find your phone charger and charger your dang phone so we can jibber jabber on the phone!

I'll check tonight and let you know tomorrow, I do know it's gas though with a griddle/grill overlay, that might be built in though.

But here are the juicy details from the design of the kitchen. The color scheme is almost Tuscanyish. The walls are a yellowish orange, sounds prettier than described, and the granite is orangyish. There is a tile backsplash all along the counters. The backsplash at the sink is a small murally thing of a lemon tree. The counter tops are granite and the workspace, oh the workspace!!:cloud9: There is so much of it. One side of the kitchen is fridge, little counter, big long sink( country something?) then counter space and then opening into the kitchen. On the other side there is the built in micro above the oven. Next to that is a little counter space and then the stove top. Then there is more counter space that wraps around the wall in an "L" shape with even more counter space and then pantry. If you like to cook and have room, you should come visit me and we can cook all weekend. I'm so excited. I will be very disappointed if I can't cook this weekend. Tomorrow the floors go in, Thursday the plumbing guy comes so we can finally wash dishes in the sink like normal people. He's doing the sink, dishwasher and stovetop. Cabinets and lighting are done, oven's in, just needs to be hooked up, and minor details after this week like the baseboards and finishing stuff.

Nope, it's split. Stove/cook top and oven is built in next to it.

I know!! I know it got thrown into one of the boxes. Hopefully! We have to go through all of the boxes and wash everything this weekend, so it better be in there. If not, that might be okay, my phone is so old anyways, I need a new one, and what better excuse than that?

ok kim does it say thermodore on the range? is it stainless steel? or does it say sub zero? or viking?

wowi wanna cook in ur new kitchen becuase i am wiz when it comes to cooking! :)

Perhaps you should make monkey bread, with poached eggs, and ham for breakfast. Just to start your day off.
