I want to say close to 8 inches maybe a little more. When we got him he was a baby and I had bought three. I named them Jack Daniels and Whisky. He was jack. he ended up killing whisky and then daniels. He out grew them so fast. So it was just him and my plecostomus in the tank. The plecostomus is fine. I think he is lonely. He is really big too. I will have to take a picture for you.

How long is the pleco?

I would buy five ciclids under 2 inches. And maybe 2 chinese algea eaters also under 2 inches.

For some reasons groups of 5 fish are less terrotorial. You really want them as small as you can since your tank isn't big.

I'd try to get them all a different variety of cichlid. This way you get active fish that spread out in the tank and are colorful.

The chinese algea eaters though, somtimes they have other names too. But ther are very thing and long. Kind of like a almost cilver colored cylinder. They don't get big but clean the tank just as much as a pleco, which can outgrow a tank.


You can get all of these at walmart, petco or petsmart no problem.


If you can spot them some tanks are invaded by tiny snails. about an eighth of an inch long. If you can spot some in the gravel(they are nocturnal) ask for a few to be thrown in you fish bad. These things will polish you tank until it sparkles.

I HAPPILY wore my GIants Jacket. I wanted to wear my hat but my school banned all hats. Dumb rule! But I live close to the giants stadium and go to alot of games. I decided school was more important than the parade and didnt go.......Well maybe next time I can.

I'm closer to the A's stadium but have alway loveddd the giants. and yess! My spanish class had ten people missing. english had five....and chemistry had four i believe.

I remember when the A's played the Giants in the series. Might of been 88 maybe 89. I didn't know who I wanted to win.


I suppose if there was a day to take a vacation day this was it.

I really cant be missing school I just took two days off for my Wisdom teeth to be pulled. MY vacation is coming soon enough. Disney in 19 days! WooHOO!!

I'm finally back from the boring conference. I got to the hotel Monday night in b/w the 8th & 9th inning and went straight to the hotel bar instead of checking in to watch the rest of the game. I even watched Wilson pitch!! Then Cruz struck out and then I cried. I was/am so happy I can't even describe the feeling. It's better than when I found out I passed the bar. My cell was ringing like crazy and I was calling everyone like crazy, best day ever! The bartender even gave my a tumbler full of Patron for a shot price to celebrate. The downside is that I was in a hotel so when I finally went up to my room, it was limited cable, no CSN, no MLB Network, I was resigned to their local news and ESPN. I am not happy with ESPN b/c they have been so East Coast and no talking up the Giants, until last night after they won. The local news talked about it, but then they reported on the Kings opening night. Seriously!!! The Giants just won the World Series, who cares about b-ball?? But I watched ESPN all night, and watching the celebration at the mound only got better. Tried sleeping that night, but around 4:00 gave up trying, I was like a kid on X-mas eve. I was too excited to sleep and every time I thought/saw the celebration, I got the biggest grin on my face. Tuesday morning was driving around the nearby gas stations looking for all the papers, but only found the Sacto Bee, so I'm gonna go onine to see if I can order the SF Chronicle. As I was driving, I was listening to KNBR, their radio station, and they were interviewing Duane Kuiper, one of their commentators, and were replaying the various calls, and I seriously kept choking up every time I heard it. Even now, I say it, and it hasn't really sunk in, it's so surreal and I love it. I didn't think I would ever see a World Series, I thought I would be like the old people who are Cubs fans telling stories about how many times they came so close but couldn't finish it off.Now I have and can die a happy person. Couldn't go to the parade b/c of the boring conference and am not happy about that at all. But I called home and DVR'd it, so I can watch it over and over again. So I have all the paraphernalia that I will wear until it falls apart. The one downside of Monday night, is that the baseball season is now over and I have to wait until mid-February when camp opens and it starts over again. But what a h*ll of a way to end the season!!! And yes, I will be watching every game every time they replay it on MLB Network this winter.

Sorry I was rambling, I was hoping it would get all of my excitement out of me, but no, it hasn't, not even close. It's still like they won tonight. I don't need my b-day of X-mas this year. I'm good!!!

No, I was at the stupid conference and would only get credit if I was at the whole thing, it was an all or nothing. I was so incredibly boring today too, that's all I was thinking about this morning as people were talking. But I taped it, so I'll watch it in a little bit. I would have totally gone though if I wasn't there work would have expected me to be there.
