I shop at Sephora for certain things. Sometimes that little purchase can make a girl feel good. Which can be good for the guy

..yyeaahhh see jenn matt does not feel that way about makeup products and stuff like that. I guess he just doesn’t see that I do it *FOR* him, (the perfume makes me feel pretty), so that I can look as good as I can for him let alone smell pretty for him. In fact I don’t think any guys see’s it that way, they just see “frivolous spending”.



Just cause my boyfriend advises me not to shop there….. doesn’t mean that I don’t “window shop” sephora! Heee heee hee

I like the little things at sephora too, the retractable eyeliner I get, a new eye shadow brush every 2 years, or a small pod of eye shadow from smashbox! It make me feel really pretty just jenn does when she shops there. And that is where I get half my perfumes! plus umm hello I love free samples—I am free sample nut! Not al makeup lasts for ever, you gotta throw some of it away after 24 months or so and get a new one—I guess guys just don’t understand that! BTW—jenn I just got a new eye shadow brush, I don’t remember witch number it is, but it works soo awesome! and I really love the glitter eye shadow by sephora! it stays on all day and its soo pretty and make my green eyes look pretty, I got one in green called “python”….

Matt-Tink can fend for herself Matt, if she wants to shop at Sephora she freakin can! You should not worry about her shopping there; you should be worrying about me shopping there and online at sephora!..i havn’t but I am just saying!

I am sure all these men that complain about us girls spending money on makeup & girly things would be the first to run a mile if we didnt look after ourselves.
I havent seen any guys dating bag ladies lately......and that is what we would look & smell like without the upkeep!!!!

Thanks. Didn't even want to go, it was boring as dirt and traffic coming home was horrible. I hate 680 and 880. There's always traffic.

I don't like you shopping there either Tink, because it is all impulse buying.

Okay, all this non-sense Sephora bashing has to end!! It is not frivolous spending. Especially if you go in knowing what you want to buy and buy it. Plus, Sephora is more expensive than drug store make-up b/c it's good quality, and it lasts so much longer than drug store makeup. I've had eyeshadow from there that I wear pretty much every day and it's lasted for a year and a half. And guys always say they like a girl with self-confidence, and makeup will do that 99% of the time. You don't feel good in the morning, throw on a little mascara or eyeliner, and you feel happier and better about yourself. Not to mention everyone has one vice or another, and makeup is a lot safer than what else they could be doing. Everyone knows at least 1 person who they've seen w/o makeup on and they really should be wearing something.

we have not taken a cruise yet. I know we have talked about it. We are currently in the home buying process so I think we are going to have to put it off for a while.

The fireworks are always nice.

If I ever had a boyfriend that told me what I could and couldn't spend my money on he definitely wouldn't be my boyfriend anymore. I only use name brand products because I'm pale and literally can't find drugstore make up that matches my skin. I use Lush soap and an expensive perfume, I work hard for my money and no boy will have that much of a say on my spending.

Sara don't let a guy have any control over you, it's not worth it.

Hey just like jenn and you stated, there is just certain things we can’t get a dime store drug store…. Different skin types call for different and sometimes more expensive products! The foundation I buy is from STILA, Its from sephora, it’s $45 dollars USD for a tube, its not very big tube, but it lasts a while and it works for my skin. I cannot tell you how many drug store brands of foundation I have gone through to find one that didn’t make me break out like really badly.. and yet I never found one, but I did find STILA at sephora and THAT foundation does not make me breakout, it fact it hasn’t ruined my face like those other brands! You just can’t put a price tag on what makes a woman feel like a woman!

i just want to put it out there..that i have a shopping addiction and matt knows it . and he has been helping me to overcome it hence the fact he doesn't like me to shop at sephora and let alone online... he in no way controls me or ever has. i cant help it i have a spending problem....and its something i am trying to control but i cant with out help, becuase everytime i walk into a sephora i spend LARGE amounts of money and then sometimes i get buyers remorse, and mat has helped to keep me grounded from doing all that, and he is the first person that has suceeded in helping me and i think i have done pretty well. its not something i share with everyone.. but i figured i might as well.. I also have depression,and so this week for me pretty much as sucked altogether..and since i am spilling the beans might as well tell you all also, i am autistic, yep i got aspergers syndrome which is why i should not be spending money like i do. becuase i dont understand how to manage it let alone understand the whole concept of it.....but thanks to matt he has been helping me understand it all...
