Hi- We just returned from the world w/ our 4 dd's. Our 6 yr old is high functioning autistic. We did get the gac, but we didn't need to use it once.
I think the EMH is probably going to be your best friend. Just having the crowds down to a minimum reduces those lines and opens up lots of choices for you. Our dd LOVED splash mtn sooo much- we really had to incorporate that into our mk plans about every 1/2 hour.
Other than that and a few minor meltdowns; she did great.
I didn't think about the earplugs before we left. That's a great idea- she loved all the 3-d shows and I would hate to see your ds miss out because of the loudness. I also think this would help w/ making him feel more in control.
