Sunday March 25th
Weather ~ very hot and sunny 87*F
We were up early and left the hotel before 7am as we were going to Cinderella’s Royal Table for breakfast!
As we left they were assembling the hot air balloons on the land next door to our hotel. I rather fancy doing that, so maybe next time!
We arrived at the TTC, only to find that the monorails had broken down!
Oh dear, I had planned on taking lots of photos of an empty Main Street! We eventually got going and arrived at MK just in the nick of time so we really did skip (well, OK then, hurry
) up to the Castle! It was lovely seeing the park so empty and I did manage to sneak in a few quick photos, especially of the Partners statue which is normally so crowded.
We entered CRT and had our photo taken with Cinderella.
She was lovely and made a big fuss of Francesca who had worn her Cinderella dress. The photo package is included in the price of the meal and because there were 5 of us we qualified for two packages so were able to have a family one and one of Francesca on her own.
I looked up for Gus and Jacques and there they were, hiding up in the rafters.
The restaurant was very regal, just as I expected it to look. The girls were all given Magic wands with wishing stars and boys were given a Magic sword.
The food was delicious - orange juice, sausages, bacon, scrambled egg, French toast, potato, waffles, pastries, breads, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Very yummy.
We were visited by the Fairy Godmother, Jasmine, Belle and Snow White.
Every so often the children are asked to make a wish with their wands/swords and Pixie Dust sparkles around the room.
This was a lovely meal and a wonderful experience to see so many little princesses and princes so taken up with all the magic.
When we came out the rides were walk-ons so we went on Winnie the Pooh (had to do it twice as someone forgot to look at the picture of Toad handing the deeds over to Owl), Mickey’s PhilharMagic, it’s a small world and Haunted Mansion.
The park was starting to get busier so after riding Big Thunder Mountain twice
we decided to explore Frontierland
and Tom Sawyer Island
then head over to Animal Kingdom, stopping first for an ice-cream break, of course!
