Fun stuff to do in Downtown Disney??

We are staying near DL the night before our 3/20 Disney cruise and are just planning on doing some shopping at DTD that evening. we aren't going into the parks at all.

Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of stuff to do that would be fun to kick off our cruise vacation. Here's what we have planned so far.

Dinner somewhere in Dtd. Dh was thinking ESPN Zone.
Pin trading with whatever cm's we find while shopping.
Maybe a treat from Marcelines.


Those remote control boats near Rainforest Cafe-- anyone know how much they are?

There are usually musicians and other entertainers playing along the walkways in DTD on weekend nights and sometimes during the week.

House of Blues often has concerts a few nights each week.

Watch fireworks from the area between DL and DCA gates. Fairly decent view from there.

Catch a movie at the DTD AMC theaters.

I saw ZZTop at the HoB, love the night music and the family likes the window shopping and people watching.

We always do a DTD day when we get there. We take our time and stroll through DTD stopping at the shops and taking in the music. The kids love to visit the Disney store, Build a Bear, and the Lego store. We also love to visit all the Disneyland Hotels. At night we have dinner at Rain Forest Café and then maybe hit a movie at the theater before heading to bed for an early morning start.
