Fun restaurants outside the parks?

some great restaurants are on citywalk @ Universal! Its just a short drive from WDW but the restaurants are great. Bubba Gumps has great SHRIMP & Emeril's is really good.... On International Drive they had a great brazilian steak house-Texas De Brazil - I am sure there are lots others but these are the ones that stick out to me! :) :goodvibes

I am sorry I should have been more specific, I meant outside the parks but within Disney world.

WCC at WL is a lot of fun and the food is good! Chef Mickeys is great for character interaction.

Whispering Canyon for sure, and Kona Cafe is just really good food. I like The Fountain at the Dolphin as well- classic diner style. If you want characters, Chef Mickey's of course, and 1900 Park Fare is good (check on the status though -recent renovations over there).

The Boardwalk area itself is a lot of fun in the evenings with carnival games, magic acts, surrey bikes and lots of goodies in the sweet shop & bakery. There are many restaurants in the area including ESPN Club, Spoodles, Beaches & Cream, Cape May Cafe, and many more!:goodvibes

Any recomendations??

I love Fulton's Crabhouse in Downtown Disney. Just ask for a table on the upper floor with a window view. And then skip dessert and instead go to Ghirardeli Ice Cream Shop and have something there... yum!!!

I've never been but I've heard some great reviews on Raglan Road - great food and live music! We're planning our first visit there next trip.:goodvibes

Do you have kids? I know it gets panned here but Rainforest Cafe at DTD is fun & the food is good(to us). Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL is real fun.
