Hi all,

I am taking a trip to the world with my mom and sister this fall. They haven't been in many years and haven't experienced alot of Disney Dining. I have so many favorites I am having a hard time choosing. What are your opinons for fun dining for girls only trip?

Some of the places I was thinking are, Raglan Road for dinner, Chefs de France for lunch ( I have never been there but this is something my mom would enjoy). Would love any suggestions.

I second the tea! I went on a mother/daughter trip this past december. We enjoyed Rose and Crown (great food, very peaceful meal) and Cinderella's Royal Table (everyone should dine in the castle.) Good luck deciding! :goodvibes

I heard of some girls taking an all girls trip and dressing up like princesses and going to the princess meals like Akershus and Cinerella's Royal Table. I think that sounds like a ton of fun. They also dressed up like to the hilt and went to places like the Polynesian for the luau (Hawaiian style) and some nicer TS in Epcot I can't remember the name of. I hope to take an all girls trip one day. =)

How about Ohana's and if Teppan Edo. Sci Fi might also be fun.

I Second "Ohana's and Teppan Edo!

ALSO - CRT - as PP said... "EVERYONE" should eat at CRT once...

Hugs,
Mary

I agree with some others that Tea at the Grand Floridian is the ultimate girls' trip dining experience. Just so relaxing, and enjoyable, pretty atmosphere and good food.

You mentioned Chefs de France, that is another I would suggest.
We like the Brown Derby for lunch, it is not as loud and busy as some other restaurants can be, it is upscale and perfect for a girls' luncheon or dinner.
The Grand Floridian Cafe is another nice place to suggest.

We did a girls' trip and one of the things we loved doing was getting CS, wrapping it to go and finding a quiet, pretty spot to relax, eat and hang out at. We did this at the Poly, along the beach, at Epcot, in the WS, in front of the Germany area overlooking the water on a quiet park bench, etc....

Have fun and make great memories!

On past "girls only" trips, we've done California Grill and Jiko and had a wonderful time at both. I would also choose these places for a romantic dinner with DH, but somehow they also lend themselves to being a fun spot with the girls. If you want to splurge a bit, these would be delightful.

Totally tongue in cheek, but there's a gorgeous VERY flirty waiter at Kouzzina...my friend and I had a great girls night out dining there..the sangria is good too! food was ok, but the boardwalk is a lot of fun!

Sorry..I couldn't resist...I just saw your title and that was the first thing I though of as it was just a few weeks ago.

Le Cellier is really cool and would be a fun place to dine! Can't guarantee any fun waiters though...;)

I don't think adults are allowed to dress up like princesses in the parks. It's against Disney policy.

We are doing a girls only trip in May for dd14th birthday.
I booked CRT, Hoop De Doo, Poly Luau, Chefs De France, Sci Fi, Crystal Palace, Donalds Safari Breakfast, Tusker House/Nemo Lunch. I have done three of them and DD has only done one so most of it is new stuff or things we would not normally do for a family of five due to cost. The CRT Dinner is a surprise on her actual birthday day:thumbsup2

DS18 and I will be at HDDR 5/11 for the 5pm show...level one...

Have a magical trip!

Mary

We booked level one 5/17:goodvibes I paid for the dinner shows Oop this trip because we wanted to use our TS credits in certain places. Also we are restricted with seating levels on two of them and I did not feel CRT was worth 2 ts credits. I normally would not do this and try and max out my dining credits but with the two of us only going we can squeeze in a few Oop special things that I normally am too cheap to spring for:rotfl:. We have never done HDD so I am looking forward to trying some new things:cool1:

i would say lunch at Chefs is fun

What about 'eating around the world' one day at Epcot- start off with sharing nachos or something mexico- get school bread in norway, sushi in japan, etc. You get the picture. It is a lot of fun to try something small in each place from the quick service areas.

a nice meal at JIKO, Le Cellier or what about California Grill? Even if you don't want a full meal at Cali Grill- you can go enjoy a 'beverage' and appetizer in the lounge, which actually has some of the best seats in the house in terms of view over the MK.

so many great choices in DTD too- i say yes to Raglan Road!

O'Hana's
Biergarten
California Grill

OMG, I think we had the same server at Kouzinna's last November. He was really young looking; his name was Eric. We called him Doogie Howser, because he looked too young to be even 21, but he was so flirty and adorable. We had our picture taken with him and everything. And we were three single gals.

I stayed at POR a few years ago - we took the water taxi to DTD and did a really nice girl's night out at Fulton's.

Then we came back and rented a surrey bike and took a ride around POFQ and POR. It was fabulous.

I enjoyed Raglan Road a lot. Especially if you guys drink - they have great wine and beer. The evening entertainment is nice!

We love Boma. I always recommend that one.

50s Prime Time is fun to me. Might get a laugh or two out of your family. Especially if they don't know what's coming!
