*Fun in the Sun* 30 days pass help

Do to a resent illness, my trip has to be changed and I need to reduce what I pay for resort, food, tickets, etc. as much as I can for my Dec 26 to Jan 3 trip to WDW and my first since 1980 when I was 6 yrs old. I will need to pay for my two Doctors visits and that will cost out of pocket after insurance probably $500 to $1000.

I was wondering if paramountinternationtravel and the tickets that they sell are legit or not. Just like everyone else, I don't want to get there and find out that I am out of luck or order them and have them never show up. In stead of getting a UHP for 8 nights I could get a 10 day world pass for $350 and save $50 dollars.

My question is, can you go to multiple parks the same day or is it one park per day. The ticket discription on the site doesn't really explain that very well.

What about getting a 7-day hopper plus. I don't know the price off the top of my head, but don't forget that unused days NEVER expire, which means even if you returned in 10 years you would be able to use any unused days left on that ticket.

I went to the paramount site but I can't find anything about it - does anyone know.

This is really excruciating! All I want is to go to Orlando and go to the parks - why can't they get together and give you one ticket for all the parks? I would probably pay extra for that!

there is no ticket that I have heard of that include Universal, Sea World and Disney. After all they are in major competition with each other. I wouldn't think you would ever see that. It would be nice though, we could even use that since we like to break up our trips.

This is what Mousesavers says about the Fun in the Sun pass:

The Fun in the Sun pass gives you unlimited admission for 30 consecutive days to the following:

the 4 WDW theme parks
the Disney water parks
Pleasure Island
DisneyQuest
Disney's Wide World of Sports complex (sporting events requiring a separate admission charge are not included)

plus:

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center
Salvador Dali Museum
Edison-Ford Winter Estates
Miami Seaquarium
Everglades Safari Park

The pass also includes one Character Breakfast voucher redeemable at selected Walt Disney World restaurants.

I ordered mine last week from Paramount and it was shipped out the same day via overnight UPS. I've had more problems getting it from UPS than I did getting it from Paramount - apparently it should be waiting for me when I get home from work today.

The pass isn't shown on the Paramount website, but if you call their 800 number, you can order them.


Based on the information on Mousesavers, the Fun in the Sun seems to be something that was created for overseas travellers (it is sold by travel agents in Germany, the Netherlands, and Australia), just as the 10 Day World Pass is for British travellers. North Americans aren't supposed to know that they exist - thanks to the internet, we do. Most people probably buy whatever is being sold at the Disney Store, AAA, or at the gate, so Disney isn't worried about word getting out (I hope).

I assume that the price difference is based on research that shows exactly how much people from different countries are willing to spend on tickets, and how much time they spend in an area.



For Universal and Sea World, you can buy a pass that includes admission to USF, IoA, Sea World, and Wet & Wild for 14 days. They also offer the same thing with Busch Gardens added on for a little bit more money.

Disney doesn't want to encourage people to leave Disney property during their trips, so they will probably never participate in any kind of deal with Uni or Busch. The other participants in the Fun in Sun pass are relatively minor attractions which aren't going to draw people away from Disney for long - especially if people are on a month-long trip to Florida.

What way do the vouchers for the other parks work. I presume they are separate to the Disney ticket and do you require ID for this

You have to turn in the vouchers at guest services, located at the entrance of all parks. You do have to have a valid photo ID when you turn them in. You will recieve a ticket that looks like a hopper. The ticket will require a fingerscan when you enter a park. Hope this helps!

What about the pass for Kennedy and the everglades- do you get a separate voucher for these - I presume Disney don't included them, on the passes they issue. I know the breakfast voucher is separate, just wondering about the others.

For KSC, you take the park pass that they give you at Guest Services, and bring that to the ticket window at KSC (it was #3 and #4 when we were there a couple of weeks ago). They make copies of the ticket (it says 30 day Fun in the Sun on the back of it), give you back your Disney ticket (make sure you get this back because you need it to get into the Disney parks) and give you a ticket for KSC, which you put thru their turnstiles when you enter the building!! I don't know about the other ones, we only went to KSC.

I got my Fun in the Sun certificate yesterday from Paramount. It's basically a 8.5"x11" card folded into thirds.

The top third is the certificate that you exchange at WDW for your actual pass. If you go to Kennedy or any of the other places before Disney, there is a place on the back of the certificate for a rep from each place to sign and validate that you have used the pass - this allows them to determine when your 30 days begins and ends.

The middle third of the ticket is just the translated instructions for exhanging the certificate (the main certificate is in English), the other languages are French, Dutch, and German.

The bottom of the ticket is the certificate for the breakfast - which seems to be good at any resort restaurant and the ones at the Studios and DAK (including character breakfasts) - I don't think it can be used at MK or Epcot (so no free breakfast in the Castle or with the Princesses in Norway).


In the package, Paramount also sent me brochures from WDW, KSC, and the Dali Museum. They were very fast and efficient, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend buying from them.
