Fun and Sun Package April 2017

We are going to take a last minute vacation to WDW April 8-12. I see that there is the fun and sun package to take advantage of a discount when booking a hotel. I tried putting in my dates, but the 8th isn't available because travel dates for the Fun and Sun package begin April 9th. How can I get the Fun and Sun discount on my room for April 9-12 while also booking a night on the 8th?

I'm not a travel agent, but you'd probably have to book them separate, and then work with Disney about staying in the same room. You may want to call up to book or use a travel agent who can do that for you.

You will need to make two separate reservations. For the night of the 8th make a room only reservation and a second reservation for the nights that qualify for the Fun & Sun offer. Since you are within 30 days of arrival you will have to pay in full when you make the reservations. You will be able to pick up the tickets that are part of the package when you arrive if you want to go to a park on April 8th.

Staying in the same room is only a request and not guaranteed. If you want to remain in the same room you will have to book the exact same room type to improve your chance. You can note that you have a continuing reservation and when you arrive let the castmember at the check in desk know that you would like to stay in the same room. You will still have to go down to the lobby and check out/check in the next morning.
