Any opinions out there on Fulton's Crab House? My boss wants to know :) , and since my family doesn't like seafood, I've never paid any attention to reviews of this restaurant. FYI , she is not on the dining plan. TIA:goodvibes

Fulton's had the absolute best crab I have ever eaten! I've heard others say they didn't, so maybe I just got lucky, but I am quite the crab fan and we live near the real Saratoga Springs where there are some great places....Fulton's was by far the best.

Our Ratings of Fulton's:

NOTE:
Fulton's, as several other WDW eateries, is part of the Levy chain.
The eatery has decent service and food, but not stellar.

LOVED it!!! Did I say I loved it???:rotfl:

I am from the Northeast where we have some fabulous seafood. I would say Fulton's was on par with some of the better seafood places around here. Albeit more expensive. The server was wonderful. We asked what he would recommend. He recommended the scallops. We asked where they came from and after he said New Bedford, MA we passed as we can get those at home for 1/4 of the price. We went with the Alaskan King Crab legs and they were unbelievably good. I got the dessert trio and it was amazing as well. It was very expensive but after that meal we didn't feel like we got ripped off as we did at some other places in WDW (Cap'n Jack's as an example).

TDF....TO DIE FOR!

We have dined there many many times and each time we get the same thing, fried lobster tails for me (not on the menu but they will make them if you ask) and the king crab claws.

Also enjoy the salads and the seasonal soups. Not keen on the desserts there so we just go to Ghiradelli for sundaes

We have eaten here several times and always had good food and service.

Ditto! The best crab I've ever eaten was served to me at Fulton's. The only minus I have is that sometimes the seating is a bit crowded (but it wouldn't stop me from eating there).

Very very good!

It's pricey, to be sure. And the pace of service can be leisurely (which I actually enjoy...nice departure from some of the other on-property eateries).

But the food is very good/excellent. We've eaten there about 8 times over the past 10 years. There were a couple years in there where the quality had come down...but the past two visits, it's really come back.

If they like Seafood (and don't mind the prices), they'll be in heaven!

I took my DW there for her birthday in Jan. we had a very nice time, the food was very good. We both love seafood, and all of it was fresh and tasty.
The service was very good also. We both placed Fultons in our "too do list again" And the bar was a great place to have and after dinner drink too:thumbsup2

A LONG time favorite -- have NEVER had a bad meal and have always had stellar service. We have eaten there probably eight times over the last fifteen years.

We really enjoy sitting in the bar area (at one of the tables) or outside when it's nice. Seems warmer and more festive than the restaurant areas to me. The seafood is good and seems fresh; however, it is expensive (at least for us) so I can't justify the cost because I am not a true seafood lover.

Have always had a great experience there. It is where I meet my dad and step mom when we come down for a visit.

I am not a seafood person so i had the chicken option and it was good but the sides options i felt were limited to mostly different types of potatoe. Also the kitchen got DH order wrong and the standard seemed to have slipped a little since our first visit.

DH loved his seafood options (once they got it right) but he said for the cost he would prefer to pay oop for the cali grill.

Nice place and our waiter was friendly but we did seem to wait a long time past our reservation time (which they could not seem to find even though i had my reservation number) as we had to go on standby.

This has become one of our favorite restaurants at WDW. We used to go there when it was the Empress Lily and really like the upstairs Empress Room. When it first changed to Fulton's we were more than disappointed in the food and service, but that has improved a lot.

For what it's worth, I had one of the best steaks I've ever had, anywhere, at Fulton's. They also have a good burger on the lunch menu. For comparison, the burger at Fulton's is the same price as at places like Sci-Fi Dine In, but the quality is significantly better.

THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:
It is our first restaurant stop next month for our vacation!
We can't wait!! It's pricey, but worth every penny!!
Simply delicious!!! :thumbsup2

Just be aware--IF you go and you do get the crabcake, they will attempt to tell you it is Maryland style..or "just like the ones in Baltimore".

Well--not really.

It doesn't measure up to a "real" crabcake. Wasn't all lump/backfin nor did it have the required Old Bay seasoning.
