Could you all give me your opinion on this restaurant, the other places I chose for our adult evening out are all booked and the ressie person suggested this place. Please let me know what you all think and if you have a suggestion for somewhere else please feel free to share that as well. Thanks:)

I haven't been there, so I cant tell you for sure, but I think the menu looks absolutely amazing at Fultons. IF there was any way we could possibly swing the money to eat here, I'd be there in a skinny minute. Ive heard great things about it, plus when you're done eating, you can walk around and SHOP at DTD. Sounds great to me:) Good luck deciding. You could go to www.allears.net and click the "Review and Share" and see if there are reviews for this place under DTD Restaurants. I just discovered this great little resource the other day, and have been on allears a million times.

This may help you with some Fultons info. We ate there last w/e for lunch, and it was a very good meal.

For other suggestions, I'd need to know if you will be on the dining plan, or will you be paying OOP (out of pocket).

OMG - where do I begin with Fulton's - dinner to die for.

A few years ago, I took three girlfriends from work and they all love seafood - gosh we all grew up in DE and go to the beach all the time. We are just chocked full of seafood places. Unfortunately, I am allergic to seafood, but you can always seem to find a few things on a menu for me.

The service was excellent - top notch. I had the free range chicken with broccolini and it was fabulous. Usually, I really like a good steak, but I was just in the mood for chicken. Instead of getting a standard salad, I added a side of grilled asparagus that was perfection!

Two of my friends got dunganess crabs, which were nothing but a tiny pile of shells when they were done - I don't think either of them spoke the entire meal! My other friend had the mahi-mahi and she asked the server when he came by later if it was caught right outside the restaurant in the lake as we were coming over on the water taxi - it was so fresh.

And to top it off, I had a milk chocolate creme brulee for dessert. My other friends got the key lime pie, the banana creme pie, and the carrot cake and we just ate off each other's plates until we thought we were going to explode with delight!

I am telling you - we stayed at POR and it took us almost an hour to walk back to the water taxi. We were sooooo full, but it was soooooo worth it!

Futon's is the one restaurant that we must return to each visit. While our service has ranged from okay to fantastic, the food has always been good.

:thumbsup2

Yea! I'm so glad to hear so many positive reviews. I looked at the ones under Dining on here and they were not that promising. Thanks to you all am looking forward to a great night out with my honey:)

Robert we are not on the dining plan so we are open to all suggestions for the rest of our stay as well.

Not worrying about the dining plan, then for an adult evening out, I would consider (in alphabetical order only):

Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge)
Bistro de Paris (Epcot)
BlueZoo (Dolphin)
California Grill (Contemporary)
Il Mulino (Swan)
Shula's (Dolphin)
Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club)

My family and I had dinner there in August 2008 which was very good. I ordered the Fulton's Fried Platter which tasted great.

We have been there for dinner twice, both times the food and service was incredible...tons of pics in my Oct and January link.

I am in love with the fried lobster tail and Mai Tail with pop rocks!

DH and I love Fulton's and try to visit every trip, even tho we usually have the DxDDP and this restaurant is OOP.

The atmosphere is great......try to book a ressie just before sundown and request a window seat....very romantic.

DH loves the crab claws and we both love the Lobster Nargarsett (sp?).

We have always had awesome food and fabulous servers. We have an ADR for 10/2/09 and can't wait.

PS.... I never order dessert at Fulton's. After dinner DH and I wander down to the Raglan Road patio, where I order a chocolate martini for dessert.

OMG!!! STOP SKIPPING DESSERT HERE!!!!!

Seriously - the bing cherry cobbler is just to die for! I would put it up there with the almond cheesecake at Narcoossee's as one of my two favorite non-chocolate desserts at WDW.

As for the rest of the meal, we kept avoiding this place because of all of the mediocre reviews, but we finally went this past summer and I am only upset that we waited! The meal was great, our server was excellent and very knowledgeable, and their drinks were excellent too. I would describe as the seafood equivalent of a steakhouse - most dishes are no frills, straight up good food. This is a pricey meal, but you are paying for great quality. Fulton's is right there with bluezoo and Narcoossee's for me when it comes to Disney seafood (with Flying Fish clearly fourth).

I'm so excited for the reviews. DD7 is a huge seafood fan and they have crab legs on their kids menu (she's not going to be a cheap date when she's older!) I'm taking her here for her birthday dinner!

Thanks everyone, I am really starting to look forward to my night out with my honey:)

We went to Fulton's this past June. I thought it was pricey for what it was, good but not great.

We love Fultons and have always had great service here. We did one year have a meal that was average rather than great - but I think that was due to not thinking before ordering - we made some odd choices that weren't the best we could have chosen.

Other years, we have had meals that ranged from excellent to utterly amazing. My tip would be to order simple stuff - the quality of the food here is so good it doesn't need mucking about with too much!

I live about an hour away from DD and we go to Fulton's at least every couple of months. I love eating there and we have always had great food and service.

Make sure you get the milk chocolate creme brulee.

OMG this place is to die for. We went in August and was our only OOP meal (we were on DDP). Food was great, service was amazing.

We were a party of 8 with 2 4 year olds, 7 and 11 year old. The restaurant made a real effort to ensure the children were well taken care of so the 4 adults could alos enjoy our meal. They made suggestions on timing and everything worked out great. The seafood wedding cake was awesome very fresh and yum yum.

I had the Beef Oscar and my SIL had crab cakes all delicous. I squeezed in a dessert when I heard all were made on site from scratch. YUM YUM Mango Cheesecake.

I will definatley go back again. AWESOME:banana:

We go to Fulton's at least once every trip. I love all the seafood here, always perfect and fresh. Our daughter loves both fish and crab legs here.

We were really pleased with Fultons also. We were a party of 2 adults, and 4 kids ages 4-10. We did find people dressed nicely for this resturaunt. I had all the boys in matching nice shirts that day, but we spent the day at AK and all got so wet from Kali River Rapids that we had to buy T-shirts for the kids, so, they weren't dressed so nicely by dinner time. I felt unconfortable, but it was just me, no one said anything. My oldest son put sour cream on his baked potato, thinking it was butter,. They very nicely brought him a new potato.

An all time favorite. This is first restaurant my DH ever took me to at Disney anry to go back as often as we can. We celebrated our special 25th anniversary dinner there last September. I've booked it for our mini-trip next week without telling DH--it is my surprise for him for all the extra work he did umpping baseball games this summer so we could go on vacation. Here's a link to my review, with pics, from last September:
