Fultons Crab House

I thought the food was average and the prices outrageous. That being said, the family (me being reluctant) wants to return again this year. So, I put out there that if they can save up the $300 by the time we leave I would love to go back. Yep, they are on their way to $300, saving every penny, nickel, dime and quarter they can find.

I will say the service was great. We sat outside to eat and the view was awesome.

Fulton's is my and my dd's one night off the ddp "splurge". She loves the crab legs and I love their filet.

Also, their crab dip is to die for! We made it for xmas appies this years and everyone raved about it.

Go elsewhere. The food is average and the service is poor. With so many other good choices at WDW you can do much better. Give Flying Fish a try.

We've never eaten here, so I don't know about the quality. The menu does look good, because we like seafood. I'm a bit confused on the price though. Are the prices on the menu @ Allears not accurate? It doesn't appear more expensive than some of the other WDW restaurants we've dined at. Just wondering. :)

I second this....potato wrapped snapper......Yummmy:goodvibes
Kerri

Definately try Flying Fish! We just left there 30 minutes ago.
The potato wrapped snapper and the new york strip were wonderful!:thumbsup2

We loved it. We went last September (I am always curiosu when people went, so you know how current the review is), and it was so delicious, we came back the very next night and did it all over again. Some items are expensive, others are quite reasonable. We are from Seattle and get great seafood, so we can vouch for the quality of the seafood at this place. Yum. We go the crab claws dinner--their signature item and the most expensive--and it was incredible. If you like crab, do it!!

My wife and I as well as our children, one 9 and one 11 with our niece, age 11 in tow, ate there. We all agreed that we absolutely have to go back to this place again. We loved it. I almost did not give this place a try do to the bad reviews here. Fultons seems to get hammered here. Funny...there is not much seafood on any menu in WDW. This was the only menu with lots of seafood choices. Great service, great atmosphere. I recommend it.

;) Ah, Yes...the potato wrapped snapper!
Had that also at the"Flying Fish Cafe!"
It was great! Let's face it anyone who
isn't crazy about fish(like myself) will find
any of the fish dishes at WDW...incredible!

Every time I've been to WDW I make sure I try
at least one fish dish...one in particular I've
found to make you salavate...the twin rock lobster
tails at "Fultons Crab House" just inside "Downtown Disney!"
Those are sooooooo good!

I'm getting hungry:lmao:

Fulton's is okey. We have gone many times, and every time we drive out there just to eat there. The thing is, I am big on atmosphere, and once we were seated in the front of the boat and you are kinda just shoved among everyone else, and that, to me is not worth the price of the dinner. However, every single other time we have lucked out and got seated in the side hallway area that is more secluded. I now ask and wait the extra time to sit there.
It is pricey.
The one time we were counting on it to be good was our anniversary. We went out just to eat there and the entire dinner was the pits. I was soooo ticked that I wrote the company.
They wrote me back and gave me a number to try and fix it, but I am not one to talk to people on the phone, especially to complain. They emailed me several times asking me to call so they can 'fix' it for us, which I assume meant give us a free meal or whatever, but I never called.

With that in mind, I HIGHLY recommend Flying Fish AND Blue Zoo. My husband and I are 'foodies'. (even write a food blog over at fotocuisine.com) and though we try not to be snobby, I sometimes look back at my recommendations thinking 'wow that was haughty taughty' :D but this is coming from someone who, until 5 years ago, was completely satisfied with super well done steak and potatoes and hamburger helper (man i wish i could make my tastebuds like that stuff again. i have memories of how good it was, then tried it again recently and just absolutely disgusting...:D)

ANYHOW, Flying Fish is soo absolutely good and worth every single penny.
Blue Zoo is Todd English's place and we love him. a lot. Try to hit all his restaurants when we are in the tons they are at. Blue Zoo is my husband's favorite restaurant ever and he is more haughty taughty than me :) I personally think English's other place, Kingfish Hall in Boston is my fav.
Blue Zoo is going to be really really expensive though. Every time we go, it is about 120-150 range, but we also have about 2 cocktails each and then an after dinner drink like scotch or what not, which is about a third of the bill or more.

so. did i lose you yet?

i really hope this might help you out a bit?

AND my DH just told me today that we might be hitting Blue Zoo this Monday night (heading out to WDW on monday) so YAYAYAY!!!!

I couldn't agree more! Being from New Orleans where there is a great restaurant on every corner we feel like we know good seafood. Blue Zoo blew us away, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant ANYWHERE!!!!:thumbsup2

If you go on Monday, could you take pics (if DH allows) and post??????
