Has anyone eaten at Fulton's? I know it isn't on the DDP (we are doing Garden Grill with the kids for lunch) but I thought the menu looked good (albeit a little pricey) and I could actually get a decent time. Anyway, this is the most important meal of the trip so i don't want to screw it up :)

My husband and I ate there in 2000. Know that was a long time ago now, but it was absolutely fabulous for us! No kids, bottle of wine, etc. We still talk about that place and that particular dinner. We shared some kind of special platter which has king crab legs, lobsters, and various other "seafood boil" type stuff, the best that I can remember. I do remember even all those years ago probably dropping a couple of bills there, though...maybe a bill and a half. We had a a bottle of wine, and probably a couple of cocktails prior to dinner, and then the big platter. I just remember that it was expensive, but we enjoyed ourselves immensely and were treated like royalty

Go ANYWHERE except Fultons!! Well-maybe not anywhere. But there are so many better restaurants for a special dinner.
The food is ok, the place is nice looking (though nowhere near as nice as it looked when it was the Empress Lilly)--but the service is wretched. Absolutely the worst of any restaurant at WDW. We'll NEVER go back even if someone else picked up the tab.

While I usually agree with Uncleromulus on everything, I have to disagree on this one. We've eaten there twice this past year and both times the service was very good and the food excellent. Once we ate for our anniversary and once with the kids. We all enjoyed it and can't wait to go back.

We absolutely include Fultons in our dining plans while at WDW! Even the kids enjoy their meals, there and can't wait to 'eat at the restaurant in the water' lol! Although, the first time we were there (2000) they had a small? fire in their kitchen, and our table our food---came out finally after near 1 hr...what an experience! We happened to have a NEW server, as she mentioned it was her first day, and told us 'secretly' about the fire, but then again we had that first big table right outside the swinging kitchen doors. We were a bit disappointed about all of the commotion, but the food finally did come out! We were a rather large group (10) had some very restless hungry children somehow we managed through this one! The second time we went there, was just a perfect dinner, food was outstanding, service was impeccable, although this restaurant is usually ALWAYS packed!!! :thumbsup2
